Bio and Links
Bio Photo I try to take a photo and post a memorial for any Military Veterans that I come across while at any cemetery. As we should be sure they are always remembered for their service,

I as well spend a lot of time at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St Louis, Missouri. I have several family members buried there and find a lot of peace there. While there I try to take some photo's and post them or add memorials for each person. I am not just a numbers person just one who enjoys walking cemeteries for my exercise and rehab.

CROSSING OVER
Oh, please don't feel guilty
It was just my time to go
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some its not many years
I don't want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven't really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I'm closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say
my name, I'm standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there's nothing I can do.
But I'll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to
"cross over", I'll be there
to take your hand.

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING...

RE: Cave family plot
HI Randal,

Yes, there was another Charles Cave that died in 1891. This man was much younger than Charles Stephen Cave (father of Charles Clarence Cave). The Charles Cave that died in 1891 was not only younger, but was married to a woman named Mary. He shot and killed his wife Mary and then turned the gun on himself. I have a couple of old newspaper articles mentioning this.

At first I wondered if maybe that Charles Cave that killed his wife Mary could be the same Charles Stephen Cave, but I later learned the two were entirely different individuals in looking at census records (listing how old they were) AND looking at the old St. Louis City Directories. In the St. Louis City Directories it lists both Charles Caves (one as Charles S. Cave, and the other just as Charles Cave) and it listed their occupations and their street addresses. And both had different street addresses and different occupations (one a painter, the other a railroad employee).

So after exhaustive research, I have found that Charles Cave who died in 1891 is an entirely different person than Charles Stephen Cave and was much younger.

Florence B. McClure who is buried next to Frances Cave is the daughter of Charles Stephen Cave and Frances Cave.

Thanks again for creating the memorials and making the corrections.

~ Rachelle

Hi Randal,
May I have your permission to make a screen copy of the photo you recently took of Rollin Richmond's headstone, for my family tree? I'd make sure to note credit for your having taken the photo. Thank you.
