RE: Billy Don Kirk
I too believe that he is still alive. There is not a date of death on the grave maker. The reason that I listed him on findagrave.com is for his relatives to also be able to identify Dorothy, since they used her middle name on the grave marker and not her first name so that it is another way that they can identify that this is really her. It made it a bit more challenging to find her grave marker but as you can tell, I did and fufilled the photo request that was asked for by another member. Normally, I don't list people without a date of death but in this case I did so with the intent for it to be easier to identify her better. Some people believe that all people that are alive and have their name on a grave marker should be listed so that it is easier to find information on relatives on this site and on ancestry.com... to further their family trees. I am on the fence about that and don't mean any disrespect and if you ask me, I will be more than happy to delete his site. My whole goal is to just help people find their family members and document the past as accurate as possible.

Your Friend,
Sean

RE: Dorothy Annette Owens Kirk
That is not a problem what so ever. I have been meaning to do it now for a few days but have to wait until I have some free time. I am just glad that I am able to help somebody out.

RE: Jane McCorkle photo
You are welcome. I also have Joel McCorkle and James Lighton McCorkle. I will add those soon after editing a bit to get them as clear as possible. These old headstones are almost completely worn away, leaving only enough inscription to match against the cemetery list data. Another child, William Junius McCorkle, is listed but the list notes his grave is unmarked. He and James Lighton are sons of John and Jane McCorkle. I don't have info on John's grave site.

Regards,
Joy Steele
