Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Holdenville, Hughes County, Oklahoma. The branches of my family have been in this area since before statehood. I have been active in researching my family tree since around 1990. I would be glad to take short trips to the surrounding area to take requested photos.

RE: Edna E. Boatner Garner
Thank you! It's definitely Boatner. Her grandfather, Doc Isaiah Boatner was married to my GGgrand aunt, Matilda Jane Perry. There are lots of census and marital records between these three generations verifying the spelling of the Boatner name.

Added your note and made a few corrections on the bio for Estill. I borrowed the information posted from a tree on Rootsweb originally.

Thank you so much!

Have a great night.

Shanna (Flaherty) Pierce
Hey Danny, Just found out where you are employed. My hubby is CO Pierce. I have probably seen you in the front lobby several times and just didn't make the connection.

Thanks so much for your time & effort. I assume by the Reed cemetery you mean my grandpa John Pharr's grave. Just so you know (& whomever might want to know) that's where he's really buried but he also has a stone at Wetumka beside my grandmother, Ruby. When he died in the 30's they lived at Reed with his aunt, so buried him there. When his kids, my mother & uncle, got able to move his body closer to family & in family area at Wetumka, the family at Reed didn't want to move his body. So we just put stone at Wetumka. Thanks for changing 1/2 sib info.

Hello Danny,

I'm interested in learning more about this man's family, as I am tracing the known descendants of my ggg-grandfather, Jesse Self, who was also his ancestor in the line of his Standridge grandmother.
