I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Just to clarify on my comment four doors down (even though it's not your memorial) Julia was with her son GW in Lenoir Co., NC, while John T. Ervin's father GW was with his parents in Transylvania Co., NC. I had it that way to begin with and don't know why I changed it. Too many research tangents perhaps.
Anyway. . . I didn't want to leave that error laying around unresolved. Thanks for the help getting these families straightened out. They're not mine either. :)

I sent a message to the contributor in hopes of getting the parentage error resolved. Hopefully the correct parents will appear on GW's memorial soon-ish.

Birth Records for Brothers:
- Larry Thomas Dellinger, born 04 September 1952 in Gaston Co, NC, son of John M Dellinger and M Eloise Lewis.
- Anthony Lewis Dellinger, born 09 August 1961 in Gaston Co, NC, son of John Matthew Dellinger and Margaret Eloise Lewis.
If this is not correct, let me know and I will correct.

Thank you for the photo of William P. Cole. Appreciate all your help and time.

All that information I sent you in the SAC was trying to find HIS father's (George Washington Ervin) true parents. Julia Ann (Byrd) Erwin/Ervin as shown on Find A Grave is wrong. If this happens to be your family, GW's parents were Henry J. & Mary Ann (née[—?—]) Ervin. The family is found in Transylvania Co., NC in the 1880 census while Julia is still with her parents in Lenoir Co., NC near Kinston.
If you're not family and not looking for GW's parents, never mind. :)

I am so glad you questioned that middle name Gaynell. I picked-up the middle name from a tree on ancestry.com. MOST of the time I check for a solid source to prove what I find. I did not do my research to prove the middle name this time. So sorry, I am in error. The tree I found that middle name on was from a tree that has proven correct entries in the past. I rechecked that tree today and found no source for "Gaynell". Further research, something I should have done before passing the information on to you, shows a NC Birth record for a different person named Amanda Gaynell Price with a different set of parents who was born in Rockingham County, NC,This Amanda Gaynell Price is definitely NOT the daughter of McCama Wilson Price and Jemima nee Bowman. The submitter had placed "Amanda Gaynell Price" on her/his McCama Wilson Price family page. This is a good reminder I need to check everything out before passing on information. I am sorry for the incorrect information to you and for your inconvenience. Suzzette

The obituary in the newspaper misprinted the city for Cynthia Jones. It is Hope Mills, not Hope Hills. Thanks for adding Betty's obituary to find a grave.

I have deleted my memorial....would put a note
in her BIO that death certificate & headstone
death year differs...and that she was living
with her daughter, Lucy, on the 1920 census.
