Adding a Buckner relative Hello, I wanted to let you know the existence of another child of Silas Elbert Buckner and Susan Jane "Suzie" Buckner Buckner. She is Lillie Buckner Arrowood, 1883-1972, wife of Lonnie V. Arrowood. She is buried with Lonnie in Locust Grove Cemetery in Weaverville, NC. She was my great-grandmother. Lillie's siblings pages would need correction also.
(Their son Octavius Arrowood moved to Detroit in about 1941 with his family.) I have documentation if you require it. The Find-a-Grave contributor of Lillie and Lonnie's gravesite has Lillie's parents wrongly listed. I will send her a message about Lillie's parentage as well. Thanks for all your good work!
Ballard's Hi, I got your pictures. If I put too many let me know and I can take any you don't want off, ok? I put picture captions on the area shots if you want to click on those pictures to see that. There is a Mary Klaffki 1867-1923 buried beside Della, in the same Lot as the rest of Della's family. I don't suppose she is related, just happened to end up in that same Lot. Samuel is in grave 1, Delilah in grave 2, Richmond in grave 3 and Della in grave 4 and this Mary Klaffki is in grave 5. Graves 6 and 7 are unmarked. Then there is an Emma Crosby in grave 8 and her husband Herbert Crosby in grave 9. Graves 10 and 11 are unmarked. Lucerne Pennoyer is in grave 12. I am guessing the Ballard's only bought those first four graves in this Lot, and the rest of that Lot was "up for grabs". Nathan
Keenholtz Hi, I was adding people to Find A Grave. I added Della Keenholts to Find A Grave and then discovered that her maiden name was Ballard and that she is buried next to her parent's. I had checked before I added Della to Find A Grave and nothing came up.
The page you made is Find A Grave #= 17910537
The page I just made is Find A Grave #= 157485368
I then found the pages you made for her parent's when I searched Lincoln Memorial for their names. Then I saw that you already made a page for Della, except, you spelled her last name as Keenholtz. That is why I did not find Della when I searched for her before going through a lot of trouble to make a page for her. I am curious why you spelled her name Keenholtz?? It is Keenholts in the State of OR death index. It is Keenholts in her parent's wedding anniversary story in the newspaper. There is not one single person in the entire State of OR death index with the spelling of the last name spelled Keenholtz. I added the wedding anniversary story to Della's mother's page. Also, you spelled Della's name as Deila on her page. Maybe you are right and all these other sources are wrong? That happens once in a while. I am not related at all so am going by what research I can find. I will have you know that i am purfict and I never make no mishtakes miself. You beleeve me dont' you? :-] Nathan
