My late wife and I were first introduced to Find A Grave in 2009 after her sister had become a member. It wasn't long before we also became quite involved, especially after deciding to become photo volunteers. We soon became aware of one great benefit that we had not expected. We began to make many new friends from all parts of the country and we discovered a great many relatives, both living and deceased, that we didn't even know existed. During the first three years of our membership, it was our pleasure to visit a great many cemeteries in north Texas and southern Oklahoma, the area known as "Texoma", where we fulfilled as many photo requests as possible. We also photographed a great many other grave markers and applied them to memorials that lacked a photograph and in many cases we created memorials and did as much research as possible to honor that person. We also photographed and researched many cemeteries from other parts of the country during our retirement years when we had the opportunity to travel.|
My wife, Phyllis Elaine, passed away in March, 2012. Since that time, I have continued my various activities with Find A Grave. I still enjoy doing volunteer photos for folks requesting them and do this mostly in the "Texoma" area where I live.
I created an on line memorial for my late wife and if there are folks who would care to view it, just look in Find A Grave for Phyllis Elaine (Anderson) Fulton (34287113). Her biography tells the story of the life that we shared and the wonderful wife and mother that she was to those of us who loved her.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of William Vance Scott's tombstone. I really appreciate it!

Mr. Fulton - I owe you an apology. Your late wife went by her
middle name Elaine instead of Phyllis. I am so sorry. Please
forgive. Nonetheless, I enjoyed visiting her and will continue
to do so in the future. Regards, Jean Ann

Thank-you so much for visiting my husbands memorial as it means so much to me.I'm still reeling from his sudden death even though it's going on 4 months now. It's still hard accepting the fact that he's gone but as I keep telling myself & others "one day @ a time".
You are so very welcome for the flowers I had left on your beautiful wife's memorial as it was my pleasure...
Have a wonderful week-end,
~ Beth ~

Lyle - thank you so much. Sorry you had to go through that endurance test of hot Texas weather. It is brutal!

Charles E. Burrell is working on a book from Henry A. Burrell through Marion Edgar Burrell. Since Cora Ethel is the daughter of Hiram, she is included in the book. May we include your photograph of her and E.B. Bethel's headstone? You would, of course, be credited.
I am a contributor to Find-A-Grave (K Hoy), as well as publishing the book for Charles. Thank you for considering this.

You're most welcome. Someone who was quitting findagrave transferred several to me, but I had no connection to them or their location, so I tried to find good homes for them.

Thank you so much for visiting my mom, Frances Anderson Hall's, memorial & leaving flowers & a message. Cancer took her away from us unexpectly & too soon. I see that you have a virtual cemetery set up for the Class of 1955...did you go to school at Concordia High?

You're very welcome. I agree about "completing" the memorial, and I was delighted to find her.
