My father passed on his vast genealogical records to me and I have been working on it for over 40 years. My Great Grandfather left 45 pages in a legal size ledger of family names. I can be quite the detective and would love to help anyone I can as I love the work.|
Lines I am working on are HORNER, AITCHISON, ROBINSON, MANDER, HALSALL, HIND, DICKINSON, MESSENGER, BLACK, HANNA, SPENCER, BOYD, WINSLOW, CARD, COLTON, HULTZ, MCMEANS to name only a few.
I am a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Willow Creek Camp in Grantsville, UT. I have written for newspapers and will be doing more soon.
I am very much into family history, research and genealogy. Our family has collected many records that are quite thorough. I am 100 times active in accumulating and discovering family names.

|Brent Barker||Isaac Robertson|
Hi. I'm Brent Barker. Grace Robinson Klingler is my grandmother and I believe you are related to my (great) Aunt Alice, her sister. I am trying to extend past Isaac Robinson/Robertson. I have been naive not to understand that many have spent a lot of time and work on most of the "dead ends" on the genealogy that I received from my mother Eunice. I think I saw on one of the websites that Don Horner had copies of info from a Robinson family bible and was hoping that there would be some kind of information there or in your research, should you be willing to share it with me. Enjoyed the picture of Betsey Conick you posted here. I have an old photo album of Grace's that might have some photos that interest you unless you think you probably already have anything she had. There are some photos of the Dromgooles, Nunns, etc, a few of Alice and Grace when girls and young women, and a drawing done by Grace in 1913.

|Chuck||William Irvin Black born Pa. 1830|
I have been looking for proof of his parentage without success
I am his great grandson. He was born in Lycoming county ,Pa. Married to Florinda Ann Johnson in Iowa. Served in the civil war 1862-1865, moved to Iowa before the war and lived in Clarinda Iowa as a carpenter.His children were Samuel Charles Black,Nettie Black,Helen Black,Adeline and one other.
Williams mothers name may have Susan Bieghley and his father a James Black. I suspect he was born out of wedlock and his last name may have been Irvin. It is all so confusing
He is buried in Clarinda, Iowa as is my father and grandfather . Florinda is also buried with him
There may be a history in Muddy Creek,Lycoming co. ,Pa. But there appear to be multiple people with the same names.
Susan Beighley married a Henry Shanor, he died early on and around 1840 She married a James Black ten years after William Irvin Black was born. James Black died around 1852.
Lycoming county was part of Northumberland county at one time. His death cert says Lycoming county but does not list a father and a mother as maybe Irvin . Help? Thanks,Charles Westcott Black at Cblack5248@aol.com
