RE: Crawford - Ogden
No, I am not a direct relation. I am following a distant relative of my husband's: a Davenport who married a Ligon. that is what tied me into the Crawford and Ogden lines.
I have a thing about connecting families together wherever I can, and if I have the information to prove it, I link families together in Find a Grave to help others who may be researching the same lines.

Grave Locations
Looking for the grave location of my grandparents, Luther T. and Geneva Francis Earls Wood.
Who can I talk to about finding a grave location.
I'm not sure my grandparents still have a head stone.
Thanks, Allen Wood

Bobby Francis Wood
The deadly Dec. 27 1951 fire on 4 mile road was my grandparents. There was only one Bobby Francis Wood that died in that fire.
His name was Bobby Francis Wood with a death record. M#31284343
Not sure who the Bobby Francis Wood M#28803813 with a Head stone was. Could they be the same person?

Alfred Cobb Photo
I see that you have a request in for a picture of Alfred's headstone. There already is one for him. Run his name and check the Cobb Family Cemetery. I think I have pictures of all the headstones except Mike's. I don't think the family has put one up yet.

Hello,

I was wondering if you would take another look of this headstone photo.
I am looking for James Henry Cobb AKA JH Cobb son of John-Neff R Cobb and Elizabeth Lizzie Tuttle Cobb and brother to Ambers Cobb, my great grandfather. JH was born about 1860. I was wondering if the date in the photo could be a 6 instead of 1880?

My grandmother, Amanda Cobb Abner always spoke of her uncle J H or James Henry being "bush-wacked" and killed. James Henry was the first husband of Belle Sasser and they would have had one child, Henry William who was born in November 1885. Belle soon married Samuel Cobb in 1887.

I figure J H died between March 1885 and her marriage to Samuel in January 1887.

And I would be interested in knowing what cemetery this is in. As you know there are several Cobb Cemeteries.

Thank you, Sandy Abner Cook
