Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing geneaology since 1984. Right now I am working on the Allgood/Algood, Waltrip, Faith, Hall, Ford, Hoover, Holt, Chandler, and Dycus families and I would love to hear from any of these family members.

I am not related to everyone I have created a memorial for on Find a Grave. I do alot of traveling and am more than willing to try and help when and where I can. I will be more than happy to transfer one of my non-family memorials to anyone who asks.

If I have used one of your family photos without your permission, please let me know. I have never had anyone contact me regarding this, but I have never done this intentionally to hurt or anger anyone. It was done out of ignorance, but now I know better!

Feel free to leave me a message here with questions or to let me know of any errors I may have submitted to Find a Grave. I am admittedly horrible about quickly returning a response. I get tons of emails a day, but I will respond!

Thanks!

find a grave/Vickers
I am just wondering if you are in Searcy Ar. and do you have a wife that worked at Maytag. If so I have been in your shop and worked with your wife at Maytag.
Thank you

Old Kentucky inscription
Kenneth,

I noticed that you've done a lot of work in Kentucky cemeteries. I don't know where you live, but I'm wondering if you might be able to help meet with a puzzle. Long story short: My ancestors moved by wagon train from Kentucky to Missouri in 1853. One of them kept a journal of the trip. He noted two tombstones in a roadside cemetery which he said was between Princeton and Fredonia. Looking on Google maps I'm wondering if that could be Norman Cemetery (which I see you've been at, or one a mile or so west (that I don't have a name for). These are both along what is now 91 highway and I presume that would have been on their route.I'm also presuming the road route did not change much over the years.

Here is the journal entry:
Monday, Oct. 23rd: Marion Gilliam and Frank Orndorf came up to camp with me but did not stay long; we got off by sun up I suppose. We found the road very hilly this morning. Six or seven miles from Princeton we passed a large graveyard enclosed on the roadside; there were many tombs with inscriptions on them to be seen. A little further on we came to another grave yard larger than the first and containing many tombs; this however was not enclosed, some of the inscriptions were very beautiful and appropriate, two of which I have preserved; one on the tomb of Jesse Jones reads:

Think of me as you pass by As you are now, so once was I. So I am now, so you must be. Prepare for death and follow me.

And another on the tomb of Nancy H. Hill -- Be silent when near my grave you tread. Soon you too must lie with the quiet dead. Prepare whilst here true riches to obtain. Then we in Heaven shall meet again.

I'm looking for someone who might be familiar with Caldwell County cemeteries and who might ascertain if these stones are still there (keep in mind they date before 1853) and take photos for me. I can contact the county historical society, but I thought I'd try Find A Grave folks first. I'd be most appreciative for any help.

William Richard Stovall #53519400 & 84149543
William was my grgrgrgr-uncle. I believe the two William Richard Stovall posted on findagrave are one and the same. Would you contact Mr. James Richards #47086063 and perhaps merge the two memorials. Thank You for your cooperation.

Andrew Jackson Dorris
Dear Kenneth Allgood,
Are you the volunteer you took the picture of Andrew and Harriet Dorris in Butler Cemetery, Saline County, Illinois? If so, I would love to thank you so much for the picture of my Great Great Grandfather's grave marker I was so waiting for the last 15 years for. I started searching back when I only knew of his son, Andrew Jackson Jr. in Pemiscot County, Missouri. My mother received a $1.00 Inheritance Check from her Great Aunt in the 80's which I remember and stated she couldn't believe she still remembered her. I followed up with my other Great Aunt's pedigree chart of members of the family tree. It only led to my Grandmother (Virginia Laverne Kelton's Mother), Ola Gaskins Wilson Dorris. It was quite confusing to say. It lead me to Harrisburg,Saline,Illinois. Most of the town is related to me. God Bless you for your time, efforts, and patience to help others on their way to learn and see their ancestors. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Sincerely, Toby Marshall August 9th 2015

Homer Marshall
I noticed on several Marshall data that siblings are listed and parents. There isn't anything listed for Homer Marshall. He is the son of Reuban. I was just curious how info is added. Also his second wife Bertha is buried with him but no date of death. Anyway to find out or if they had any children ?

Elizabeth "Betty" Coleman Crain
Kenneth, in Jan. 2010 you created a memorial of Betty Crain who was married to George W. Crain. They are buried in Liberty Cemetery in Eddyville, Lyon County, Kentucky. Are you by any chance related to them? Betty was married to my G-Grandfather, Joseph Bright. He died prior to 1900. I am trying to obtain an obituary for her to determine if there is any mention of children from their marriage. I know she had a daughter, Mary Ella Bright and a son, Kelly Bright. There is mention of a Warren Bright and I am trying to find information on them.

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for the extra effort to locate the headstone. I will make note in my records that it is unavailable. Could it just be a matter of an unmarked gravesite? Sandi
