Bio and Links
Bio Photo We try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.

Only personal photos and grave photos should be posted in the photo section, all others will be removed. This includes death cert, obits, and any other scanned documents.

Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.

Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.

Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.

We may ask for documentation, don't take it personally, but with so many sending edits we try to stay as accurate as possible.

I borrowed this from another member, and I could not have stated it better. " The first memorial created in the correct cemetery (NOT as a burial unknown memorial) is the permanent memorial. Date of creation is not considered when comparing a memorial created correctly, in a verified cemetery, and one created as "burial unknown.

**When notified FAG will always remove/merge a burial unknown moved into a cemetery where a grave has been verified. "

I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:)

RE: cemetery's
I know, But the one I'm talking about is a catholic cemetery, I think the Parish Priest weren't to concerned with keeping records.

I love the small family ones, I often wonder if that family name is still around.

I'M working on another cemetery , that only 100 or so burials were recorded over the years, and it's one that goes back to the 1800's

RE: Amy Ward Vernon King
Thanks! I've got solid data on Samuel King (b 1748/1749) so I was doubting that the child was the same.

Do you know if there was a marker for the child or was that a cemetery record?

The name Samuel King was used for generations and this individual may have been part of the family.....just not the one I'm looking for.

Scout, I see that you managed 100,000's of graves. This question is about Find A Grave #123349846. Her husband is supposedly buried next to her. Samuel King. Don't find any record of him in the same cemetery. Do you have any info?

In doing this you see how kind people were back 100 years or so, that they would actually share their burial plots and memorial stones with people who were less fortunate . The on I'm doing now are a mother and daughter who were boarders in the house.

Transfer Please
Will you please transfer the four memorials of the Lakes family in the Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac, Michigan? They are my grandparents and aunt and uncle.
Thanks very much.

I suggested links to their parents and just wanted to make clear that they are brother and sister, not spouses. The fact that they are on the same stone might make them appear that way.
