|Bio and Links|
We try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.|
Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.
Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.
Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.
We may ask for documentation, don't take it personally, but with so many sending edits we try to stay as accurate as possible.
I borrowed this from another member, and I could not have stated it better. " The first memorial created in the correct cemetery (NOT as a burial unknown memorial) is the permanent memorial. Date of creation is not considered when comparing a memorial created correctly, in a verified cemetery, and one created as "burial unknown.
**When notified FAG will always remove/merge a burial unknown moved into a cemetery where a grave has been verified. "
I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:)
Please do not post edits and links on the message board. If you are unsure how to use the edit on the memorials, ask I will gladly help you.

I applaud all the work volunteers like you do to create Find a Grave memorials. You found a grave family members have sought for years.
You should however have done a search before posting the new memorial. Then you would have found a memorial had already been constructed and could have added the cemetery. The site isn't about the number of memorials constructed but about helping relations honor family members and find lost connections.

Thank you so much for transferring my sister Alice's memorial to me. I greatly appreciate it. I couldn't make one for her so am glad you did it for me. Enough time has passed that I'd like to add to it now. Thank you again.

Happy to hear the Skellys of Ionia Co are being looked after. Looking fwd to seeing the additional Find A Grave memorials for this family.
Thank you very much for your efforts.

Thank you Scout!
I was hoping someone might have already taken a pic of this headstone. Am I correct?
The "owner" of subj memorial must have taken the birth year from a cemetery burial record.
I have researched this Skellenger-family and found that William R was the s/o Samuel A Skellenger, however, the birth year didn't fit. I wrote a verification request, via edit-tab, but have yet to hear from the owner. He has over 22,000 memorials to manage, so I might never hear from him.
Anyway, I will send edit-tabs to update this memorial.
Thanks again for the quick response and allowing me to reconnect Wm R to his Skellenger-kin.
Keep up the great work; I, for one, really appreciate your efforts on Find A Grave.
br, Mike Skelenger

Bessie was about 5 years old when she died... So who knows about a monument. I added what info I had on her to her memorial, and think they may have lived elsewhere when she died. She also had a brother Harry allegedly buried in Smyrna and 2 sisters, Elizabeth 1875- and Myrtle 1885- with no other information on them. More mysteries to be solved.
Happy hunting, Al Clark

Hello and thank you for the pictures of Leland's stone. I am obsessed with graveyards and this fills an important gap on my tree.
Sincerely, Alfred Royal Clark, Jr

Yes, I know you did not originate it. But when I tried to contact him, the link said he had died. So I tried you. Thanks for replying. I am familiar with the book you mentioned and have seen some info from it and it seems an excellent secondary source. And since Wilbour is also related to them, I would tend to trust his info and yours. So again thanks so much for the help.

Thank you for finding my uncle's grave marker. I see my cousin also added a photo in the meantime. Yours is prettier. ;) Thanks again!
Wonderful Pictures! Thank You for taking the time out of your day, I just love it when a stone tells us year, month, and day.
