Bio Photo Findagrave has a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This feature is a true blessing.

Thank you for visiting!

My mother, Mary Edith "Meg" Stevens and I, were/are long-time supporters of Findagrave -- a wonderful site to place memorials and do research. She sadly passed away in May of 2013, but her love of genealogy and helping others find their family, lives on.

One of my interest areas is the American Revolution. Please feel free to visit my page on Facebook and assist in the research.

I also welcome you to follow my weekly blog at GenealogyBank or to follow me on Twitter.

Thank you. I wish you success in your family research.

If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit.

Photographs of individuals require permission, and if lifted from here without appropriate permission or credit are subject to licensing fees.

Obits under copyright should be summarized, or cannot be posted (many less than 72 years, or longer if a newspaper renewed the copyright.)

Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.

As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

Anna Deming Hoyt
Hello, Mary, I was so pleased to stumble upon a memorial for Anna Deming Hoyt (#40624607), which was started by your mother. Anna was the sister of my 5X great grandfather, John Deming. I have been trying to prove for a long time that the father of John and Anna was Zebulon Deming. Imagine my surprise when I read on Anna's memorial that she is "probably the daughter of Zebulon Deming." Is there any way of determining if that is indeed the case? Do you have any idea where your mother may have gotten that information? Thanks in advance to you or to anyone who may be able to lead me to more information! Cara

Mary H. Tarr, d. 1884
Hello Mary, I have more information about this lady, if you'd like to add it to her memorial. Her maiden name was Mary H. Little, the daughter of George and Christianna Little. She was born 21 June 1853 in Ohio. Her husband was Henry Clay Tarr, son of Henry S. Tarr and Rebecca (Husband) Tarr of Germantown.
I have been tracking the Tarr family of Wicomico County, MD and Baltimore, MD. I am trying to document that Henry S. Tarr's father, Levin Tarr of Baltimore, was the son of Rev War patriot, Eli Tarr.
Regards, Donna Ozenne

Jennie A Gans Weible
After months of searching I took a chance and plugged in Frank Weible's name to my relative Jennie A Gans. You can imagine my thrill when I found your Find A Grave information. One big question, where did you come across the (I assume) obituary information? Any help you can add to my search is greatly appreciated

We visited Laurel Hill Cemetery today and successfully located and photographed Cornelius. With him is Sarah Yorke Stevenson (1847-1921) If you would like this photo, would you please post a memorial page for her in Find A Grave and I will be happy to upload it for you. Please advise. Pat

A C Osborn - 7234746
AC Osborn is actually Aquila C Osborn, Son of William and Millie Osborn. Aquila has a Brother George W. Osborn and a sister Ann Osborn (I do not know her married name. I got this information from an old Family Bible with family entries from 1776 through 1910. William & Millie are my (4X) great grand patients.

I thought these facts would be nice to post on his memorial page.

I would love to maintain these people unless you too, are related to them.

Thank you for transferring Mary Ramsy. Also, thank you for locating her and crating the memorial. I'm not sure when or if we would ever have found her. Appreciated!
