I LOVE Find A Grave.
I don't mind people copying my photos and adding them to their Ancestry.com family trees, but please at least acknowledge that it's been copied!! You could type in "Photo by Caryn at Findagrave". Thanks!
I will also gladly transfer memorials of relatives/friends to you (if I'm not directly related). | |

Thank you for allowing we distant relatives to download your photos of the gravestones of our ancestors. I really appreciate all the hard work it takes to walk the cemeteries and photograph the stones... I've only done it a few times and WOW, it is not the easiest thing to do - especially in an expansive one!!
Again, thank you for the kindness in sharing these images with the rest of us!

I love F.A.G. too! And I do, also, always give photo credits when I find something for my Ancestry.com tree.
My question for you, is that I would love to copy one of the pics you have for Hope Howland Chipman but am happy to copy it from YOUR Ancestry tree -- only I don't really know how to find your tree!!
As you and I are now probably somehow related, lol, will you teach me how to find your tree?

Caryn: As I look at some of my memorials from time to time I noticed that you have added "improved" photos and I want to thank you. I'm back up on
Burial Hill taking photos after being away for many months. I had also added some photos to some of your memorials, so if you want to add your own photos to these memorials just ask me to delete my photos, I will not be offended.

Thank you for pointing out my error. But I can't help but notice that you are following me from cemetery to cemetery and I am wondering why? There are hundreds of cemeteries and you visit the one I went to most recently and it is a bit creepy. Thank you for the good work you are doing but maybe you can go in an opposite direction of the county instead of the same cemetery.
