I am researching the History of the Massachusetts State Police - This is our 150th Anniversary 1865-2015. I believe that William S. Mcfarlin was appointed a state police constable in 1874-1875. I have one newspaper article from 1874. I was wondering if you had any information on this connection.

I submitted the information as per the Lewis Funeral Records of Nantucket.

For: Sandra Lennox. In your entry for my grandmother, buried in Manomet Cemetary, you had a question about her last name, before she was married. Her maiden name doesn't match her father's last name because in those days, in Norway, children's last names were formed from their father's first name. Thus, Anna was named "Gillius" (her father's first name) + "sen", meaning son of Gillius.
It would have been more correct to call her Gilliusdottir, which in Norwegian means daughter of Gillius, but the Immigration people, or someone else, thought it was easier to say Giiliussen.

Thanks so much for the edits you sent for Annetta (Doten) Washburn. I further developed her memorial and that of her husband and in laws. I also found the death rec. for Ann (Eaton) Doten listing her place of burial in Plymouth which I used to create a memorial for her and have just now transferred to you. Thanks for your wonderful work in Plymouth. Happy Holidays! Jim

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of William Bradford, Jr. (Memorial# 7190993)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry Family Tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

I fixed the 2 Hall's in Vine Hills. I remember that day- when you drive cemetery roads and see overgrown shrubs it's almost a guarantee that there's a stone hiding beneath.
I wish there was signage as you drive through those cemetery's that lets you know when you leave Oak Grove and enter Vine Hills or vice-versa.
Love driving through those. Nice to see they've been doing some hillside over-growth clean-up.

Thanks. When I come across an entry for a family member I try to update any info that might be missing or incorrect. Thanks again.

I admit to not having documentation for Joseph, only that his parents were buried at Plympton and the wife's death record says buried at Plympton. So, I have changed burial to unknown and mentioned his children in the bio. For some reason I can't download the Plympton PDF transcription to prove all of it has been placed in findagrave but you said it is. Thank you for your response.
