Sandy, I wish I could tell you for sure, but I can't. His death certificate says it's a "G". I double checked it and it's clearly a G.

RE: Waterman
Of course you're right. I don't know why I said they weren't in either book. I have an old copy of Drew's that I had just looked at and had seen the prior reference to the other. I'll chalk it up t it being too late and not enough coffee or proof-reading before I hit 'send'. I'll copy this to Jim too.

Sandra, the transcripts for Nemasket Cemetery appeared in Volume 15 of The Mayflower Descendant, published in 1913, and according to the preface, were the work of John W. Willard, who transcribed Nemasket in 1907, focusing on only headstones dated 1850 or earlier. In 1910, Stanly Smith & Arthur Jones verified the work of Willard and presented the final result to The Mayflower Society, who published it three years later. I would say there are likely headstones/cenotaph memorials in both cemeteries given what you have told me about the Burial Hill transcript.

Myles Standish

Myles Standish memorial has been deleted, and his wife Ellen no. 127648413 burial spot has been added, in Vine Hills Cemetery. So it should be Ok!

RE: William J. Lennox Info
Great! Is there a way to send messages privately through Find A Grave or is only public?

RE: William J. Lennox Info
Yes, William Joseph Lennox and Mary Ann McCaffrey are my paternal grandfather's (John E.) parents. I am trying to research the family tree on the Lennox side and I am finding conflicting info. Any help from you would be very much appreciated.

William J. Lennox Info
Hi Sandra,

I was wondering how you obtained the info about William J. Lennox arriving to Boston on The S.S. Numidian? I have the passenger list and cannot find him. Thank you!
