| I would love to hear from anyone who is researching any of the people I have entered Cemetery info for..Any help with more info on an individual or pictures would be great.. I'm always willing to help climb the family tree.|
I have many more pictures to post and I know some of the ones I've already posted weren't to good...(Taken with a regular camera, Have digital Cam now)...I have plans to git more and better photos as soon as I find time to make a road trip..
I live in Augusta, Richmond Co., GA. Real close to my roots in Pulaski, Telfair and Dodge Counties.. Also right across the Savannah River from Barnwell,SC (30 miles or so). Where my Harrell ancesters stayed awhile on their way to GA.

I'm glad to see the memorial for John Jacob Dowdy. My longtime friend (over 60 years) Emma Israel Sanders of Desha Co AR, researched her family, and found John Jacob Dowdy changed the name to Israel when he moved the family to Arkansas. Besides Emma, I know many of John Jacob Dowdy's descendants. I've done a lot of work on the Kelso Cemetery in Desha Co AR, and his son, Jack Randolph Israel is buried there.

I see some of your photos have been posted on Ancestry trees. I would like your permission to do the same. I never like to use someones property without their permission. I was currently looking at the Toole family photos.
Thank you for all you do and contribute.
Thank you for consideration of my request.

I do not believe I have ever told anyone Bell Cross Atkinson was buried in any particular Harrell Cemetery. I do not remember what information I supplied to Ranny Brewer on Bell Cross Atkinson but it would have been Bell's birth/death date, spousal, parental information, or name maiden names. The memorial was created in Aug 2009. I joined find a grave in December 2011. I had not even started going through the Dodge County death certificates until summer 2013. She was misplaced there well before I came around.
I have stayed clear of adding memorials to any of the Harrell cemeteries and most of the Mullis cemeteries in Dodge County because of how many of them there are.
I have a long list of people from the Georgia death certificates from 1919 to 1927 who were buried in a Harrell Cemetery, but since there are so many Harrell cemeteries I have not added memorials for any of them.
The memorials for Dodge County that I have added from the death certificates I have been careful with. If there are multiple cemeteries with the same name or even similar names, I have not created a memorial for them and just add them to my offline word document list of graves that I have no idea where they are.
I have come across quite a few mislisted memorials myself, and have been helping to fix them when I can.

Thank you. Any correction will be welcomed.

Mr. Harrell, I have them listed in Harrell Cem. in Dodge Co., Ga. Where are they buried? I am not related and you are welcome to take over their Memorials. I will certainly delete what I have as soon as you post them in the correct Cemetery. Thanks, June

Hi, Thanks for the info. We need to get it all straightened out. My email address is up to date. I get my info from a Cemetery Book that I bought awhile ago. Thanks, June
|Ranny Brewer||Bell/Belle Cross Atkinson|
You left a message as to where I obtained the information on her. Under Ga. death certificates, she is shown as "Mrs. Jeff Atkinson." The death certificate states, clearly, that she is interred in the Harrell Cemetery, in Dodge County. I am sorry I did not show the documentation. Perhaps there was no money for a headstone, I do not know.
The reason I was researching her was because of her surname, Cross, which is an integral part of my ancestry.
Mystery solved? Thank you for contacting me. You do great work!

Thank you so much for creating memorials for the Toole Family.
Benjamin Toole (5624962) was my husband Victor Mathis's 4th Great Grandfather through his daughter Effie Ann Toole who married Greenville Green.
|Tamara Boynton Canipe||Franklin Walter,Toole|
He is my husband's great great grandfather. I would love any info you have on him. I couldn't find him until I saw something about 90 years in Aiken County. (Written by a toole). It mentioned that Franklin Walter had moved to Ga and was successful as a farmer. I knew my husband's gym other was born in Midville. I was finally able to make the connection. I would love any info you have on the family I w am. Happy to share what I know. My email is email@example.com. Thanks!
