|My journey through genealogy began with the search for my grandfather's grandmother in the Spring of 1982. Since that time, my travels have taken me to interesting places, met amazing people, and gleaned a wealth of knowledge.|
In 2001, I discovered Find-A-Grave and began contributing to the ever-growing wealth of information. After 28 years in the nursing profession, I suffered a major stroke ln 2008.
No longer able to go "out in the field", my research time is spent on the internet.
For anyone wishing to update Find-A-Grave information, please email the above address.

|ywembark2015||RE: Barbara (Niehuis) Vanderzicht Beeksma|
Thank you, that clears it up. It was confusing because she is buried next to her first husband, under the name Vanderzicht but listed as Beeksma on the records. Her second husband appears to be buried next to his first wife in another section of the cemetery.
We appreciate the help,

We are wondering if you might have some insight on a discrepancy we found.
The burial listing for Maple Leaf Cemetery says that "Beeksma, Barbara Beeksma" is buried in Section 5, Block 138, Lot 55. The headstone at that location is for Allen and Barbara Vanderzicht. Barbara Vanderzicht's memorial page says that her maiden name was Nienhuis. She does have a sister linked to her, Elizabeth Nienhuis, who married Egbert Beeksma.
Allen passed away in 1979. Do you know if Barbara remarried after his passing?

We sincerely apologize if we have done something to offend you. Could you please send us an email and let us know what we have done so we can fix it or stop doing it?

I have made some edits to the above. Inez is my maternal grand aunt. My sources for edits:
1. DOB, & POB - Minnesota Historical Society, Birth Certificate Index.
2. Parents - MHS Birth Certificate Index, 1920 & 1930 US Census.
3. Spouse - Minnesota Official Marriage System.
4. Name - Minnesota Historical Society, Birth Certificate Index, Minnesota Official Marriage System.
Inex & Lester relocated from MN to WA about 1941.
I have attached 2 photos of Inez. 1st is Inez and her sister (my grandmother) Ruby. 2nd is a closeup of Inez from that photo.

In memory of William Henry Baldwin, Civil War service Nov. 8, 1862 - to Mar. 22, 1865. Union soldier, served from the state of Ohio.
I noticed that the above Tribute was on the memorial page for William Henry Baldwin that was born in 1872, and wondered who it was...
William Henry Baldwin b.1872 is my grt Grandfather.
Thank you, Claudia Kane Janousek

Thank you so much for passing management of Truitt
to me. I really appreciate it.

I sent an edit through the auto link. I had sent one in Feb of 2014, but it may have fallen through the cracks, so I resent it. If there is a reason why you prefer Truitt not to be linked to his parents, could you send me a message to let me know the details?
Thanks so much,

I finally found the reason why he was admitted to Sedro Woolley - senile dementia on August 20, 1920. The Archives in Bellingham does not have the patient records but has an extract of information. DSHS has those records.

OK thank you for trying
|Margaret Rorick Beach||Elias Brees|
I have the marriage date of Elias Brees and Deborah Bennett as 27 Oct 1805 in New York state - maybe Warwick, Orange County; Tioga County, New York which later became Chemung County, New York. I'm look for a record of their marriage. Do you happen to know where I might find one? Elias Brees 1775-1863. Deborah Bennett Brees 1789-1838.
