I love Genealogy. I know some of my friends think I am weird, since I enjoy visiting cemeteries. Those buried in cemeteries walked and lived as we do today. They must not be forgotten. My husband, Billy, is my biggest helper. He is a great photographer.
"We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within us this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories, and future promises." Edward Sellner
"Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life." ~Albert Einstein
TRANSFERS: I will gladly do transfer requests for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Requests for transfers outside those guidelines will be considered on an individual basis.
Please do not ask for a transfer just because someone is in your family tree. That is not grounds for a transfer request. It would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. If you want links added or Information added to Bio, I can do that for you and it will be done promptly, and I will give you credit for the Information, provided the information is accurate.
Findagrave Photos Loree, thank you for all your contributions to the Findagrave website. I would like permission to use your photographs of my relatives' grave sites in my Family Tree files. I use the photos as source media and will gladly give you credit for your work. Becky
There is a special story behind this and I will do my best to explain... My great-grandparents married in 1916. Their names are Hugh Mitchell Neisler and Fannie Mae Crawford (Annie's younger sister). My grandfather was born in Oct. 1917. In Nov. 1917, Fannie passed away due to complications of pregnancy and the flu. Because of this and other social norms at that time, my grandfather was given to Annie Kate and her husband to raise. My great-grandfather would have grandfather with him during summers but for the most part, Annie and Henry were his "parents." Until his death in 1999, my grandfather considered his cousins to be siblings and his aunt & uncle to be his 2nd set of parents. This is a brief explanation, there is much more information that I can add.
Thank you for your time and effort in helping other families. It is very appreciated.
