I enjoy "cemetery projects" as a means of preserving our past for our future. Many of the records that I have added on find a grave are not related; however, there is so much historical information that can be found on these individuals that it is a shame not to find and record their moment in time.

I do not add information to records that I maintain on from U.S. Census reports as this information would be duplicated since findagrave records are now interfaced on The only exception would be if the census record contained an obvious error where inclusion would clarify an error.

The photographs on the records I create were taken by me. I do not mind your using these for non-profit means or family research, but if you use any at least have the courtesy to give credit as to where you obtained the photograph.

Thanks for taking the time to inform me about the possible incorrect burial place for Mr. Jackson. It makes much more sense for him to be buried at Springfield with his wife than Spring Hill. I did notice that and scratched my head, but went with record. I don't have access to the DC to confirm, but think now Springfield has to make more sense.

Cynthia Brooks in Bethel cemetery
You sent me a message asking where I got my info of Cynthia Brooks burial here. I thought I got it from an online cemetery but went back and looked and could not find it. I've took Joel & Cyntha Brooks off of Bethel Cemetery.

RE: Williams and McKee
You are very welcome, I was on a short break from work and spent 2 days searching for some of my own ancestors in Butler, Pike, Dale, & Barbour Counties in Al, and then on to Oglethorpe, Ga. to try to locate the Shealy Family Cem. where my 2nd G.G.Parents are buried.

The McEachern's are my Mother's side of the tree, and there are many of them scattered across the Middle of the state.

Let me know if I can help you in the Mobile, Baldwin Counties.

Best regards
Richard Sheely
