I am from Charles City, Iowa, but have lived in the San Francisco Bay area for the past 46 years. My passion is genealogy. I add memorials to Find A Grave to help others find their long lost ancestors. If you have information you would like added, please email me & I will be happy to add it and will do so in a timely manner. If a record I have added is of your family member, let me know and I will be glad to transfer the ownership to you. Also, feel free to use any of the headstone photos I've added for your own personal use.I would also like to thank Diane Scott, Mia Houghton & W.J. Huisman for all the obits & info they have sent to me for my memorials.|

|Barbara Pulley Azbill Riggio||Mc Elhaney|
Try not to put a space between the Mc and the rest of the last name, unless that is very clear on the stone. It is rare that the name is spelled that way. It is causing duplicates to be made.

This is in reference to:
Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, Iowa.
Plot: Range 17, Section 19, Row 17, Space 5 and 6
Find A Grave# 69052340 - August Wallbaum (1814-1895)
Find A Grave# 69052366 - Frederica Wallbaum (1814-1892)
You took these pictures in 2011. They are my 3rd great-grandparents. I tried to zoom in on these pictures, but nothing is readable. I was wondering, if by chance, you still have the original pictures? And if so, are they at a higher resolution?

Hi Kathy, I am working on a project to identify the last resting place of many Civil War Veterans that had any ties to Vermont. I am asking you if I may use the several you have posted on Find A Grave, to post on Vermont's Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org) You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration on this.

I've been looking for Minnie for a long time! She was the sister of my 2nd great grandmother. Do you know where the bio that is on her page came from?

|Ms. Mandy||RE: Hattie Durkee Fluent Memorial|
Thank you! And a big thank so for all your help in updating the memorials. :)
|Ms. Mandy||Hattie Durkee Fluent Memorial|
I have been going over this memorial #8357847 for days now and I now have 100% proof that the name, husband and child linked to this profile is incorrect.
I think this was a easy mistake because the actual Hattie Durkee Fluent was married to Hansley Fluent, but she did not die in 1932, nor was she born in 1858. This memorial is for Hansley's BROTHER's wife, another Hattie Fluent who was born in Feb. 1858 and died 20 Jul 1932 in Floyd, Iowa.
I have her death record and the obituary, along with her husband (Phineas Fluent)'s obit that indicates his wife's name and the exact date that she died.
I'm going to submit an edit through the edit tabs to make the corrections and if you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
Thanks for processing the edits and adding the information for Ellen's memorial. Your work for FINDAGRAVE makes it the success it is. Don

|Jon Purcell||Iowa State Armed Forces Grave Registration|
My name is Jon Purcell. I am indexing Iowa State Armed Forces Grave Registrations. I uploaded a record to Find-A-Grave for Frank Jasper Thompson (71831874). I hope the information is useful and the upload is okay.
