I was born and raised right next to Lake Ridge Cemetery, Macon Twp., Lenawee County, MI. . During the year 2011 I took on the job of restoring this old historic burial ground. It contains the final resting place for many of the pioneering families of what used to be Lake Ridge. Now it is just Britton (Macon Twp.), Mi..
I am an avid genealogist whose familes include, Miller (Mueller), Karcher, Olds, Easlick, Bach, Auten, Wonderly (Wunderlich), & Kuder. Many of the original family are buried in Lake Ridge, Ridgeway, and Macon cemeteries.

RE: Hulda Marie Smiley
I posted a few for her. Make sure you see them all
I also posted James.

Hulda and James are right next to her parents.
I added a son of she and James, James III, who was 2 rows up from them

I also found James's parents and posted their markers.

I found George and Charles as well but I did not find Edwin near any of the rest of his family.
If you get a location for him, I'm happy to go back. Just let me know

Small world, I saw Hulda was born in Morgan county before moving to Memphis. Some of my people come from that part of Tennessee. I also have ancestors in berrien county Michigan. Not sure where you are in relation to that

Merry Christmas

I looked up Hulda's obit. It says she went by "Marie"
Might she be listed under Marie Smiley? instead of Hulda?

Could they only find George and Charles? you had requested Edwin and I see that George and Charles both already have pictures.

I can look near George and Charles to see if Edwin is nearby?

RE: Memorial Park in Memphis
If you will call their office at (901) 767-8930, and ask for the plot locations, I will take the pictures.
The staff is friendly and should have no trouble looking it up.

I just try to limit my own time calling them so they don't get tired of me so I ask the requestors to call and tell me the plot information

Memorial Park in Memphis

You have a request at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. This cemetery is quite large and without a plot location it is near impossible to just stumble upon a requested grave.
I am happy to try to fulfill your request though if you will contact the office and ask for the plot location.
Just let me know, or post the plot on the memorial and I will try to fulfill it in the near future
The office can be reached at (901) 767-8930

I have uploaded a bunch of photos for Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, WI and in the process, fulfilled your photo request.

Thank you for uploading the photo of Sarah's headstone to her memorial. The image solved the mystery as to why a photo had not been previously loaded, yet I am grateful that you have.

Thomas Maynard, Lake Ridge Cemetery
Good morning, Ron! It's been awhile since we talked. I met you some time ago when I stopped by Lake Ridge Cemetery where I discovered headstones for my Maynard and Carter lines. My father, Robert Manley, is from Tecumseh. In the photo from the link below, do you know who is buried under the FATHER and MOTHER headstones on either side of Thomas' headstone? Also, the large white headstone to the left, do you know who that would be?

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

>It looks a lot better, but there is more to do.

Ah. I thought you were finished.
I've been photographing some of the old gravestones and posting the pics, as well as adding a few names that you hadn't yet done.
If you'd like me to hold off and/or transfer any of my memorials to you, just let me know.

Lake Ridge Cemetery
Hi Ron,
I've been taking some gravestone photographs in Lake Ridge cemetery and I have to say you did a fine job with the cemetery's restoration. Very nice.
