Bio Photo Brainerd, Brainard and Braynard are 99% interchangeable, though our immigrant ancestor's (Daniel Brainerd 1641-1715) grave marker is spelled Brainerd. See memorial # 47491853. My line through William has always spelled it correctly.

RE: Charles Rieger
Hi Elena,
You are welcome. I was back at Evergreen the other day and checked the plot again to see if I had missed a military marker but there is none. I see the notation "WWI Marker" on his memorial page. Perhaps you can send a message to the person who set the memorial up and ask about the military marker notation. I believe he has done a lot of memorials for veterans. If I can do anything else just let me know.

You are correct on her maiden name. I found her death record http://seekingmichigan.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/singleitem/collection/p129401coll7/id/328761/rec/1

Hi, I don't remember where I got the info on the Squire title, but I usually get my info off rootsweb.com or ancestry.com. Some of my older files came from my mothers files she passed onto me. It might have come from findagrave if someone else listed him like that. I have not checked on it.

RE: Shipley photos
Didn't know if you read the caption under the picture but the marker has fallen over. Need to contact the cemetery to have it put upright.

RE: Frederick Brained
Elena, I understand, but you asked me where I got the information about place of burial. I'm going to delete my memorial. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Frederick Brained
Elena, I posted his obituary on my memorial for him. The last line says he was buried in Woodlawn.

Hiram Brainerd/Brainard edit Danville
Hi Elena,

Thank you very much for pointing out the duplicates. Greatly appreciated! Amazing what one little letter difference can make with Brainerd or Brainard.
I have deleted my memorials for Hiram and Mehetabel and am adding photos as I type.

Thank you again,

Anne

If you like I can transfer the memorials that are in your family tree. I am not related to this family. Just let me know which memorials you would like to have.
