Brainerd, Brainard and Braynard are 99% interchangeable, though our immigrant ancestor's (Daniel Brainerd 1641-1715) grave marker is spelled Brainerd. See memorial # 47491853. My line through William has always spelled it Brainerd.|

Your welcome. I apologize for the delay but I got a bit mixed up with who didn't have a marker and who did. I told another family there was no marker when there was and continued looking for Mr. Brainard's stone. I checked with the office again and found my error. I will check again this comining week. That picture is so cute.

There are images on both memorials - Let Find a Grave mediate between those two particular creators.

You are very welcome. It was very sad to see those dates. I am obviously familiar with the Brainard name because of our local park/baseball field, but am not familiar with the family history.

I agree, he's not buried in Magnolia. Don't know where I got that from. I'll try to find him and if I can't I'll delete the memorial. SC death certificate says he committed suicide.

sorry ,no cannot verify the dates . I am sure the birth date not correct
I got it from cemetery records. I just went and looked at his card and it said “Record taken from tombstone” and then his name and the info about when he died and which plot he was buried in. Unfortunately there was nothing else. I see that I did put his death date down as his birth date, which I have corrected.
