|Bio and Links|
I was born and raised in NYS' beautiful Hudson River Valley; so I grew up surrounded by history.|
I was about 8 when I dug up a Revolutionary War era musket ball in our garden and was awed by the stories it could have told. When my father showed me a coin from the mid 1800s he found in his local boyhood schoolyard, I was hooked on history.
My grandmother's sister lived to a lucid 106 years of age and fed my addiction for stories from the olden days.
And now I have become one of those little old ladies I used to make fun of, happily wandering around cemeteries and record halls.
Home for the last 25 years has been Otsego County in Central NYS; a place with an old abandoned cemetery around every corner.
I like nothing more than uncovering an old stone and giving them back their names and histories and families on FAG.
I try to research each person's background carefully, but if you see a mistake, let me know.
And if you see a relative and want a transfer, let me know.
Feel free to use any pictures or information I post for any reason, no need to credit me.

I love your bio by the way? Are you related to Conrad Pickard and if so, Eve Pickard? I would love to compare notes!
|Shannon Wells||Fairview Cemetery Oneida county|
Do you by chance have a phone number of the place that keeps records for this cemetery?
|Rhonda Hansch||RE: Conrad Pickard|
Thanks! I have copied some of your notes from your previous email and from your Find A Grave Memorial to the memorial I did for Conrad as well as the photo you posted and added a caption with the photo that it was originally provided by you. Let me know what you think and then I will delete the duplicate Find A Grave memorial. Thanks for transferring this to me. I'm curious, when did you take your photo?

Have you come across a Abijah Hawks that could be Frances' father? I think he is probably the son of
79775077 ? Thanks- trying to find this poor young woman's family and link them up.
|Kathy Gartner||Helen Haviland|
Denise, I found the head stones of the Haviland's I found Helen and made a site for Her. I'm transferring it to you. If you don't get it let me know and I'll try again
|Rhonda Hansch||Conrad Pickard|
Thank you for the transfer. I too am on the road. I will merge the memorials and add some of the narrative from both your memorial and the message and correct the cemetery! Thanks again. Would you mind sending me your photo or posting your photo on my memorial si de the headstone I yours is so much more legible? Thanks, Rhonda
|Kathy Van Alstine||Sheldon memorials|
I have accepted the edits for the Sheldon memorials and after they are done I would like to transfer all of the Sheldon's to you.
You are very good at researching them and I am not.
Thank you and God Bless, Kathy Van Alstine

I see that you recently created a memorial for Conrad Pickard. The above memorial number is an earlier memorial that I created for him. You may want to delete your memorial. If you have edits or suggestions to the prior memorial, please submit them.
|Conservative Patriot||Furman LAT LONG|
Please put the lat long for Furman Burial Ground in the cemetery home page in the geolocation section.
and make sure the LONG has minus sign as FG does not check that in data entry rules.
