I had been trying to find information about my Great-Grandmother but wasn't having much luck. I had forgotten how many different spellings there are for Massengill. I finally double checked on ancestry.com and found the 1940 census info. Essie was the mother of Grady Thomas who was my Mother's (Mae Doris) father.

Thank you Carol! The photo of the double rings is great. I know can add their marriage date to my family tree info. You are the greatest!!
Carol, Much appreciation for your time and effort in locating and photographing this marker for me. Looks like the stone is on its last legs with weathering taking its toll. At least you preserved it forever! Thank you, Ron
|Bob Carter||RE: Daniel Groover|
I sent the note on Daniel Groover primarily on the basis of who posted the burial first. Although the other one was first, you might want to contact them and let them know you have the correct burial and to delete theirs. If not, then they can transfer to you and you can maintain it in the correct cemetery.
