Bio Photo Adding folks and photographs to Find A Grave is an excellent addition to genealogical research which my husband and I have been doing for 45 years. Our current goal is to enter all the cemeteries of our township in southern Maine which consists of three large public cemeteries and 187 small private ones. These private grave sites can be very challenging as they are found along the country roads, out in the fields and off into the woods. You have to watch for rocks and rugged terrain, wild critters, ticks and, worst of all, poison ivy. But still, it is great fun and hopefully we are finding something invaluable to the descendants and reseachers looking for their families.

Thanks so much for the photo. I was hoping her husband James would be there with her. Not sure if he is in that cemetery. I appreciate your time and effort.

Thank you for photographing my step grandfather's grave in Sanford, ME. I live in CA and am not able to get back to the East Coast to do so myself so, please know your act of kindness is very much appreciated!

Hannah and James McGroty
Lois,

A million thanks for the photos of Hannah and James McGroty's headstones. I actually did a dance in my kitchen celebrating the fact that you found them! I have been on the trail of my McGroty family for so long. The kindness and dedication shown by you and your husband will never be forgotten. Please let me know if you stumble across any more of the McGroty clan on your journeys. Bless you!

RE: Otis Baker # 55897321
Lois,

Thanks for your efforts. Now I go into my ancestry.com and it says he is not related to me Which is weird because the other day he was. I do not know what is going on but, this has happened to me before.

Otis Baker # 55897321
Hello Lois,

I looked at his mothers info and it says they are buried in the Otis Burial Lot on Pine Hill. Thanks for your efforts . It must be one of those things were the cemetery is so old records are lost. I find that out here in North West Kansas.
