Thanks so much for checking on Ruth's grave twice. I spoke to someone over the weekend and the stone is now in place! I'm so glad. I hope to get there this weekend to put flowers out.

The 2 Piggie's, are they Minnie and her son Clifton Piggie. Their surname has been driving us Nuts! LOL Census Records give 3 differing spellings; Pigue, Pegue and Peggie; however their DR's spell it "Peggie." I'm aware family members did not actually write their "own" info on DR's but more often then not, had to rely on a office Clerk to do so. Also poor education - illiteracy may also have been a factor... All I can rely on is the DR. I really appreciate your efforts to assist me with this as I'm in Michigan. Blessings, Sandi :-)
Hello Allan and Jane,
With regards to Richard Fike's Cemetery Burial, please refer to his Orange County Death Certificate: He is buried in the Hanks Chapel Cemetery in Chatham County, North Carolina.
With Best Regards,

Question, could the spelling of the name have been "Pegue" or Peque ?? Both Minnie and her son's DR's says they are buried there. However, the Census Records show multiple spellings of the surname. This may be due to illiteracy or guess-work by the Census takers ... or the graves may be unmarked? Thanks for your assistance. Blessings, Sandi :-)

Greetings Alan and Jane,
This is a follow up for a grave stone I purchased for Ruth Graves. If you are at that cemetery again, could you check to see if it is in place? The family requested a heart shaped stone. I drove out there with limited time and though I saw several heart shaped stones, I don't believe any were hers.
Thanks for your help!
