John & Elizabeth Powers
Hi John Powers and Elizabeth Levesque Powers are my 4xgreat grandparents - I would love any info you have to share on them! Are you also a descendant?

Thank you,

RE: Elzaphan Hume
Hi Marnie,

I have submitted the change request for the Hume & Powers cemeteries AGAIN along with another discrepancy I found with two other cemeteries. Really hoping they make the changes quickly that you and I have requested.

Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention.

Elzaphan Hume
Dear Marnie,
I'm going to take a ride out there this week using the GPS coordinates you provided and will hopefully be able to locate this cemetery. So you're saying that the Hume cemetery is really the Powers cemetery? The cemetery I visited had numerous headstones under heavy trees & underbrush that I couldn't get to in order to read the inscription, so I'm working with the Boone County Historical Society to ask for help in cleaning it up, & hopefully being able to properly record it. Do you want me to change the name of this to the Powers Cemetery?

RE: Powers Cemetery
Dear Marnie,

Hi! You are very welcome and I'm hoping to be able to get it cleaned up very soon. If you are a family member, would you happen to know who owns the property this cemetery sits upon? Did you know it is also known as the "Elzaphan Hume" cemetery? There are 10 members of the Hume family buried there as well.

Hoping to be able to post a photo of the plots after cleanup.

WOW! that was fast. I was looking up information on Roman's wife, checked back on his memorial and see that you added her. Thank you!

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to look for Bessie Jackson's burial site. It's okay that it was not found. I will do additional research to make sure she really is buried there or not.

Thanks again,

Thanks for searching for my father's grave and I am very sorry for the bad information. The death certificate I received was the source of the information and states he was buried at Rising Star Cemetery, in the far North, Lot H, Space 8. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
