Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Williams Co Ohio, but I am from the Henry Co area. I have joined Find A Grave to help others with grave photos. I enjoy finding family members for those who live to far away or cant walk the cemeteries themselves. I would also be grateful for any help with the Bartelheim graves, if you happen to find any.

Baby Mervin Hoag tombstone
Of all the babies named Hoag buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery, this tombstone appears to be the most readable. I made an error on some of my messages. These babies are the children of Elvin Hoag and Mary Margaret Robinson.

I have Mervin Hoag, b. Jan. 8, 1895 and d. Aug. 5, 1897, These dates were supposed to be from his tombstone. I can read the Aug. and the 1897 from the picture and I'll bet the other numbers are readable when you have the potential dates that they are. Best wishes, Donna I can be reached at gennut3@gmail.com

Baby Hoag gravestone
I believe this is the unnamed son of Elvin Charles Hoag & Mary Eliza Jones Hoag (went by Eliza. The unnamed son was b. Jan. 8, 1895 and d. March 10, 1895 (the year may be 1896) -- b. & d. in Alvordton, Williams Co., Ohio. Hope someone may be able to read the date on the tombstone as 1895 or 1896.

james William Hoag
There are two babies graves in Walnut Grove Cemetery, both simply say Baby James Hoag 1923. In Walnut Cemetery is the grave of James William Hoag, Jr., f. Aug. 28, 1923 who died at birth.

He is the son of James William Hoag, Sr. & Bernice Van Gundy who are buried in the Brown Cemetery in Bryan, Williams Co., Ohio.

The only way we can tell which stone is the James William Hoag that I am referring is that his father lost a lot of brothers and sisters as babies that are buried in the Walnut Cemetery.
These babies graves have the names: Mervin Hoag, Cora Hoag & DeForest Hoag. The baby Hoag that is buried next to these other graves would be James William Hoag, Jr.
