I am in the process of linking William Ernest Butzin to his parents father Julius 35537737 and mother Louise 63521301. What I would like to know is if you have any information regarding the son William Ernest. Seems William at the age of 19 got my husbands grandmother (She was 16)Charlotte Oakes pregnant. They never married, but Charlotte gave her son his fathers surname. Any family stories regarding this?
|June Case||Finding my father - Emil Stollfus|
Hi G. Knopp....I have been searching for information about my father, who disappeared from my life in the 1950s. I found his name on the passenger manifest from Germany...and his brother's name Herman Stollfus. I happened on this website and saw that both Herman and Emil Stollfus are buried at Forest Cemetary. Would you have any information about my father, or the family? On the manifest, the name was spelled Stollfuhs, but I remember my dad spelling it Stollfuss. He worked in restaurants in New York, Chicago and New Orleans throughout the 30s, 40s and 50s. Then I lost track of him. It may be a coincidence that both a Herman and Emil Stollfus appear in this cemetary's records but I would certainly appreciate any light you could shed on this mystery. With thanks, June Case

Would you, by any chance, have any information on her husband Frank Tremain. Frank is my great grandfather and I'm trying to do my family history of the Tremain's. If you can help, thank you.

I transferred Claude to you. I also checked the website for Inglewood Cemetery, his mother Frances is buried there as well. Their website doesn't include people buried before 1974 but it wouldn't surprise me if Claude's father is buried there as well, you can email the cemetery to find out, here is a link to the cemetery website, I believe you can email them from this page:

I have to say this: You've done a really fine job of connecting families and adding research for so many people in these cemeteries. It's been a pleasure following in your footsteps after a recent visit to the Elliston cemetery by adding headstone photos to some the profile pages you've created. I only had to actually do pages myself for a few people.

Just linked her daughter from her fist marriage, Mary Payette Gohl, to her. Been meaning to do it for awhile, but totally forgot about it. Something brought it to my memory today!
