Bio and Links
Bio Photo Daughter of Betty Miser Roberts and the late Lige Andrew Roberts. I love to work puzzles--and every grave is a piece of someones family puzzle.
I work mainly in the McMinn,Monroe and Meigs Co areas.We live close enough for me to venture into Roane and Loudon Co also. I am more than happy to make transfers of memorials. I love to see obits, pictures and family links made.
I have learned a lot of local history and geography while we are out looking for photo requests in the various cemeteries. My husband Robert locates a lot of the photo requests when he is with me.

RE: Paul D Harris ancestors
Hi Liz;
Thank you so much for trying. Also thanks for all your efforts to help many others. It is great. I don't know how or why Sophia & Charles Stockton have disappeared but it appears they have not left a trail that I can find. Most of their children have given their full names as their parents & one or both have appeared in census up to a certain point in the area so it would seem strange for them not to be there but perhaps patience will win one day. In the mean time I have found a lot of 'maybe' cousins. Thanks again.

RE: Tola Melton--Niota
Tola is on the upper part of the cemetery, across the highway from what I consider the main part of the cemetery. She is in about the center of the upper section, with a faded red flat double stone (which is not obvious in my pictures) shared with Mary Wattenbarger.

Paul D Harris ancestors
Hi; I am interested in many branches of my family tree. Recently I have been led to the Loudon area of Tennessee. With the help of Find a Grave I believe I have again tied another member into our tree possibly. I am particularly interested in confirming a Charles W Stockton m. to Sophia Obidence Pethel - grandparents of Paul D. Harris. I have been unable to find their deaths or gravesites. I believe this was Charles 2nd. marriage but need to find proof of this fact for sure. If I have the correct Charles W. - he was born in 1830 in Canada & married 1st to Fanny Judd, until some time after 1870 - I believe he then went to Georgia & was married to Sophia. On census records his place of birth seems to vary, often as NY. I have traced the family from Georgia with hopes it is the same Charles & that all descendants from his 2nd. marriage would be 'cousins' also. Elaine

Hinch
Thank so much for the offer of transfer in the Spring City Cemetery. I am not a direct descendent. Their daughter Dona Hinch married a Parham and I was working on the Parham cemetery trying to get everyone connected. I appreciate the offer but there might be someone else out there that would be a closer family member.

Thanks anyway
Lexie
