I've been researching family trees since 1990. I've always cared about history and love of graveyards since I was very young. We kept up an old family cemetery on our property and would always felt I did a very good deed after the clean up. I am always glad to help others find missing resting places and with the genealogy. My main family lines are: PARKS |
Rawls Lawrence Patton
McCormick Gregory Sonnie

Annie P Wright
Annie P. Wright and her husband Oscar are now in Mount Juliet Cemetery, Wilson CO. They are listed in the Annotated Records of the cemetery. May have been moved there from Joel Sullivan. I know her parents were moved there from the Pugh Cemetery because of the Dam. Also she has a sister buried there. I don't know if there is a headstone or not. I will request one for her and Oscar and see what happens. She was my grandmother's niece.

You're welcome. It was exactly on the county line, a bit away from the main road. We stopped and asked a neighbor mowing his yard, he knew exactly where it was. It's not been maintained albeit not in all that bad of shape. It's soon to get worse as many tree saplings have taken root. It's a shame as its a large family cemetery. I tried to photograph all the graves to document for future generations. I even added a couple that were not on Find a Grave.
I was struck my the magnitude of loss borne by the Corbitt family, three children lost at birth in three consecutive years and then another older child a few years later. What a tragedy and burden to bare. As I visit cemeteries and find so many children's lives lost so early, I realize how God has blessed me with two wonderful sons.
I'm glad to have captured your ancestry grave markers for you to document.
I see that you have added photos to all the memorials that are in the cemetery. When I ask for the first ones, I was not aware that all the others are in my mother's Castleman family by birth or marriage, had found soon after my request that they are. Now if I could just get them linked, but difficult with an inactive memorial manager. Thank you so much

Thank you for the four great pictures added to the memorials for my Castleman family. I really appreciate that you did this.

I uploaded the photo for Ruth's grave, but I will keep an eye on it and replace it once the stone is updated. I could not get a direct picture because there was still a pile of dirt in front of the grave.
