|Bio and Links|
I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.|
My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.
If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.
Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.
I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.
And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.
Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

I appreciate your kindness & I believe contributor Jeri thanks you as well. Your understanding for a fellow contributor is uplifting. It was very nice of you to upload the tombstone markers, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the transfers sir, I'm grateful. If you ever need and Virginia favors, just give me a holler. Rich.
|R & R||RE: George G. Visscher|
I thought that it usually meant that also, but in this case I have no idea what this would be referring to. At first I thought it could refer to a group he joined later being from Georgia and proud of his states past - maybe a typo.
All I know is that it is reported by the gen society rep that provided the info to me for this individual. I was hoping someone might know as my original source is no longer available and stood by it when asked originally. I have researched it and tried to find what it could mean in this case but still no idea.
If you took the photo and did not see anything on the headstone or near it that would explain this then maybe drop the SAC in a pending file and if any information pops up it can be added to the bio later.

No, I cannot say for certain that Annie is buried at Hickory Flat, only what a relative told me, the relative that gave me the pictures? If you know for certain she is buried some where else, I will be happy to change the information.

Did not find any relatives but just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" for all your hard work on this cemetery. Very impressive.
