William W. Buford
Here's more on William W. Buford:

From "Tennessee State Marriages, 1765-2002", posted at Ancestry.com:
Davidson County, (p. 95): Edward Buford married Rebecca Buford on 5 OCT 1809.

Rebecca P. Buford was the daughter of Byrd Buford, and granddaughter of James Warren Buford, Jr. and his wife Mary Buford born 1735. Rebecca died on 8 JUL 1825.

This Edward Buford married second Amanda Pugh, daughter of James and Sarah Pugh of NC, on 18 DEC 1826; and after Edward died in 1828 in Williamson County TN, she married second Gabriel Buford, son of Josiah Buford. See also Edward Buford Estate Record.jpg stored on hard drive.

Edward W. and Rebecca P. Buford's son William Wirt Buford (b: 6 DEC 1818; d: 11 SEP 1888) married first Eleanor Ray Pointer, and bore 5 sons and 2 daughter. Eleanor died on 11 DEC 1856, shortly after the birth of her last child, Eleanor Louise.

William Wirt and Eleanor Pointer Buford's second son, Edward L. Buford (4 APR 1842 in Williamson County TN; d: 11 JUN 1928 in Davidson County TN; buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Davidson County TN), married Lizinka Elliston on 9 NOV 1875. He served with Clack's 3rd TN Infantry, and was captured at Ft. Donelson TN, and at McKernan's Island AL.

William Wirt and Eleanor Pointer Buford's fifth son, Charles Buford (b: 28 MAR 1854), inherited Edward W. Buford's homestead in Williamson County TN.

William Wirt Buford married second Ellen L Stephenson, on 28 SEP 1858. He bore 2 sons and 3 daughters, including Irene Mayes Buford (b: 21 MAY 1873), with her.

William Wirt and Ellen Stephenson Buford's first son, William Brown Buford [b: 14 JUL 1859; d: 6 NOV 1952 in Belle Meade. Davidson County TN], married Elizabeth Black, daughter of Alexander and Mary Margaret Buford Black, and granddaughter of William and Courtney Sivils Gordon Buford.

RE: Abraham Tennyson
He was my 4th grandfather. His daughter, Mary Phoebe Tennison married Cornelius Brandon. My line goes down from Abraham Brandon, their son.

Robert Scott Jameson
While searching for another grave in Christiana, TN, I found Robert and his family. There is no 'Christiana' cemetery. The Jamesons are in 'Miller Cemetery' in Christiana, TN. I will post the picture I took of what remains of Robert's marker along with Fannie (1863-1900), Mary (1886-91), and 'Our Babe' (Oct 25 1892). I will post Robert's marker and you can transfer the monument to 'Miller Cemetery' if you would like and I will post the other three photos there.

I enjoyed your picyures attached to Mary Jane Shelton and William R Shelton's tombstone. Mary Jane Shelton Jamison was my great great aunt.

Ophelia Jamison
Hi Joe,

I have enjoyed following your trail with all the pictures of the Jamisons. My grandmother was a Jamison ( Ophelia Jamison Williams White). She and my grandfather lived in the Rutherford County, NC area - is your line of of Jamison's related? Grandmother Ophelia was raised by her uncle, all I know about him is they called him Bob. Her dad's name was Edward "Ed" Jamison. All I know is he died young. My grandmother died before I was born as well. Her youngest son was my father. Any insight would be appreciated!
