Dear Ancestor,

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
In this field of green.
The name and date are chiseled out
For all the world to see.

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist,
You died long before I was born.

Yet we are of one, you and I,
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the life you lived
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Memorial# 110578116

I discovered that I inadvertantly double posted a memorial for Mary Elizabeth "Lida" Greene-Bower.

Your memorial is Memorial# 110578116.
Mine is Memorial# 129589688.

I'm willing to take mine down, but I have added a lot of links. I don't know which way to go here. Would you prefer I send you all the links to your site and you update yours, or would you prefer something else.

You posted originally, so I bow to your decision.

Sorry for your loss
Signed in to remember my Mom and Dad with flowers today and read that your husband passed. So sorry for your loss. It was ten years ago August 24th this year when my husband dies unexpectedly. I know from experience others words do not make the loss more bearable but would like for you to know I am thinking of you. Bobbie Dunsmore Davolt

I am sorry for your loss.

I was wondering if you have any more information about my Grandpa Fred, as I know nothing about him aside from him being my paternal grandfather. I would appreciate any information you can offer, when you can.

William " Mack" Fugate
My Great Uncle, and wife Anna Fugate they pretty much raised my uncle and my mom so they were Grandma and Grandpa to us growing up. I remember putting flowers on babies graves as a child. My mother told me one of the babies belonged to the Fugates or maybe both were theirs. But she also remembers a story of maybe one belonging to a Maddie. Are there any babies graves near there tombstone? I see there are no relatives listed with them. Baby would have died at birth or very shorty after. I think I remember grandma telling me both babies were hers. Carlos Eldridge is buried there and was raised by them. Any questions please call 785-735-4293 my name is Terri

Howard Osgood Bradley
The birthdate (1886) you stated for Howard Osgood BRADLEY should be 1876, NOT 1886.
Thank you for posting the photo.
