Please use the edit tab on memorials to submit information, links and to request transfers. This ensures the correct memorial is identified. Sources are always appreciated, as we're all just striving for accuracy. If I ask for a source, please don't take offense.|
** Always verify information found on this site. Errors abound as more and more people enter memorials for graves that haven't been found.

are you sure that you sent the correct email to me. You are refrencing my grandmother in law but mentioned Balance who isn't in my database. Virginia Mae Avent is my late ex mother in law.

We're on the road now but I can send you the information when we get back. 'These Hallowed Grounds' primarily lists cemeteries (old and newer) from Stanly County which have been physically visited and markers transcribed by individuals from Stanly County. There are also some cemeteries listed from the surrounding counties in this book (i.e., Richard Parker Family Cemetery).

That's what I was thinking but you never know these days with the web so I'm just leaving it alone till I get another email. My mother passed away in Jan. so I am hoping that once the weather breaks I can get to work on some of the photo requests in my area. There are a bunch of them but the cemeteries are close by.

You had been so helpful in the past, I'm hoping you can assist with this. I received an e-mail today from Find A Grave saying I had a message with the link but I can't find anything current on my contributor page. What am I missing?

My grandmother's mother was Mary Ann Patterson. I found Henry Patterson Cemetery by accident. She was born 1866 to Elisha and Sarah Elmira Patterson. She married William Thomas Fisher in 1888 Wiley's Cove Arkansas. We can't seem to find out what happened to her or where she is buried. I found out where they left Arkansas and went to Oklahoma so we don't know if they stopped in Tenn. where their parents are from. She had a brother named Henry Thomas Patterson. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you so very much for your quick response in transferring my brother Dennis. You have done a wonderful job of creating it. I have already fixed a mistake on it. (My mistake)

Rev. Robert Utlaut is my uncle. Thank you for adding. Happy to maintain. I have requested links to his parents which I just added. Thanks!

May we have permission to download and use your memorial stone photo in our tree? And if so, do you want photo credit or not?
