I was in Forestvale Cemetery (Helena) this morning to take a picture of the grave for Robert Lee Word. Nearby was a stone for Samuel Word so it seems he was not buried in the Virginia City cemetery. I added a picture of Samuel's stone to his memorial along with the big WORD stone that is in the plot. There are some of children and at least one grandchild buried in that plot.

I only sent the obit because I did not know if you had seen it or not. Sometimes when a memorial is made earlier before the death, the manager may not know of the death. So it was not intended for you to add unless you wanted to. As for myself I do not add obituaries until the funeral is over. So all this notification was for was to let you know the death date if you did not. You would be surprised how many managers do not update. You have a very nice memorial for her.She sounds like an amazing woman. MHN

He was my 4th grandfather. His daughter, Mary Phoebe Tennison married Cornelius Brandon. My line goes down from Abraham Brandon, their son.

While searching for another grave in Christiana, TN, I found Robert and his family. There is no 'Christiana' cemetery. The Jamesons are in 'Miller Cemetery' in Christiana, TN. I will post the picture I took of what remains of Robert's marker along with Fannie (1863-1900), Mary (1886-91), and 'Our Babe' (Oct 25 1892). I will post Robert's marker and you can transfer the monument to 'Miller Cemetery' if you would like and I will post the other three photos there.

I'm not a cousin, in visiting I just noticed the typo. Have a great day. Kind regards.

I think you mistyped the date of birth. FYI.
I enjoyed your picyures attached to Mary Jane Shelton and William R Shelton's tombstone. Mary Jane Shelton Jamison was my great great aunt.
