I am a Middle Tennessean happy to keep an eye out for relatives of others while pursuing my favorite hobby, searching for interesting grave shelters in small, rural cemeteries. Gravehouses, shelters, tents, rock tombs and cairns--they're all vanishing quickly, so will take them where I can find them, and appreciate your suggestions. The motherlode of rock tents/combs, the Cumberland Plateau, is my favorite stomping ground.|
Thanks to all of you who have added photos to my memorials! I'm willing to fill photo requests in out-of-the-way places, as long as you're not in a hurry. If corrections are needed to memorials I've added, or if you would like additional information, feel free to leave a message here or send email to my address.
You are welcome to use my photos for non-commercial purposes without obtaining my prior permission, as long as their use is within the rules and guidelines of Findagrave.com, and provided the ownership source is clearly stated each time.
I am not directly related to many people for whom I've created memorials, so please feel free to ask for a transfer. If I've made a mistake on a memorial, and you can shed light on the subject, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Am always on the lookout for Berry (Hulme, Wiltshire, Vowell, Malone, Jefferson), Carothers (Turner, Potts, Jordan, Whitsitt), Wilkerson (King, Barnes, Dowdy, Goodwin, Buchanan) and Rucker (all of the above, and everyone else in TN, KY, and VA).
It's a delight to be part of the awesome assembly that is Find A Grave!

Many thanks for the transfer of baby Thomas to us. We will take care of him until a closer family member requests management. Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave.

Harriet thank you for the Ashworth, Bass, Phillips photos that you added. Much appreciated. I am using all my photo request each week for ones that I added to Hearn Hill, so far pretty good response. Marjorie

Thank You so much for the transfer of Joseph Patterson, I am honored to maintain his memorial. His sister Martha Elvira married Charlie Rice Puckett, who were the parents of my Ggrand-daddy Finas Edgar Puckett that moved to Kentucky. Again thank you.

Harriett, that is a really great photo you took & posted. Thank you so much for doing that.
I wonder when this stone was set up? Wonder if at the time he died or later.

|Lynette Groves||Edwards Cemetery|
I have moved Tapley Washington Edwards and wife Amanda Leyhew Edwards. Which other Edwards should be moved form the Edwards cemetery in Lebanon to Edwards Cemetery in Norene.
|Lynette Groves||Edwards in wrong cemetery|
Hi, Lynette. I have a big favor to ask of you, and understand any reluctance you may feel.
I've just finished photographing the Edwards cemetery on Richmond Shop Road in Wilson County. Was there with one of the Howard family members who has been researching the Cedar Forest cemeteries for her hubby's folks. She said that the next one I should visit is the Edwards cemetery off Simmons Bluff Road, which isn't so easily accessible nor filled with tombstones.
So, I've noticed that most of your Edwards memorials actually "belong" to that other Edwards cemetery, that of T. W. Edwards' family, as opposed to Bee (W. B.) Edwards' family. Am sure you're familiar with the cemetery transcription that verifies the occupants, though am not sure there are many stones? If I set up the cemetery page on Find A Grave, along with a little info, would you be willing to move your memorials to it?
If not, then I won't add the cemetery. It's up to you. I've added one in the past under similar circumstances, only for the memorials not to be moved and repeated photo requests either denied or ignored, so am not interested in doing that again. However, if it does interest you and if you don't mind moving them, I'll set it up and see what I can do about getting photos once snake season is past.
Thanks much. Just give me a holler whenever you have a chance. Obviously, no hurry. --Harriet
Let me know when you have set up the cemetery page on Find A Grave and I will move them.
