Are they family? Too bad about Chester's grave, no stone.

Frederick Porter did the link from his memorial
of Isaac Doten. The only way the link can be
deleted is by Frederick himself or the
administration. It is not your fault.
I don't know how the information got onto the
biography section of the memorial. The only
people who can edit the biography or any section
of a memorial are the managers (you) or the
administration. Frederick could of sent an
edit to the administration and they changed
the biography. I know Dorothy did not make
any links or add any information to her memorials.
I manage several of her memorials and also have
sent numerous edits on others. Dorothy passed
away about 5 years ago.
Helen, I would just delete the part of the
biography that says "buried in this cemetery,"
it would not be worth the effort to try to get
Frederick Porter to undo his link, he linked
onto your memorial, you did not link onto his.
Take care and have a wonderful day,
|William A. Hamilton||RE: John B. Barger (1746-1841)|
Thanks, but I am not certain that the John Barger from North Carolina is the same person I am currently researching. The John I am currently working on was born November 11, 1746 in Germantown, British Province of Pennsylvania; d. February 12, 1841, Union Star, Kentucky, burial: Barger Cemetery, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. It is known that he moved from Pennsylvania to Bedford County, Virginia and then to Greenbriar County, Virginia (now West Virginia). He operated a tanning business Virginia. Sometime between 1791 and 1793 the family moved to Breckinridge County Kentucky. However, I can find no evidence that he was ever in North Carolina to have fought in a militia unit there during the Revolutionary War. I am also unable to find any record of him in the DAR database.
If you have more, please let me know and perhaps we can figure this all out.

You're very welcome.
|William A. Hamilton||John B. Barger (1746-1841)|
You indicate that John was a Revolutionary War veteran. In what unit did he serve? Under what officers? Anything more you know about the specifics of his service? The DAR does not show any listing that I can find.

Another person added those photos to the memorial. I changed the order of the photos so the gravestones are at the top now.
|Kimberly Herndon||RE: Martha Paggett Smoak|
You are so very welcome!!! I will be going back out to Smoaks in the near future so if you have anyone else that you would like photographed, let me know. I'd be glad to add them to my list. I'll be going to quite a few cemeteries in the Smoaks, Ruffin, and Padgetts area. Feel free to email me, firstname.lastname@example.org
|Gary Biermann||RE: Parks|
I'm glad we were able to find it. You're welcome.
|Seth Pearl||Doty @ Hilltop Cemetery|
In addition to the Doty's you requested, I found 2 more on top of the grave stone. I added the memorials for Frank & George Doty (#154727064 & 154727138). Let me know if you need them transferred.
|Luise Barton||RE: Frances Tattershall|
Helen, I need to apoloize to you about Orlen not having a headstone. The information that I received said Orlen was buried in the same spot as Frances. However while searching section 14 for another headstone I ran across Orlen's. It was in a totally different spot then were I thought it to be. I have taken a picture for you of Orlen's and also of Clayton's for you as well. I am so sorry about the confusion about this. Hope this gives you all your loved ones headstones. If not please let me know and I will get the others for you too.
