Working on my family's history is what I love to do. I also love going to the old Cemeteries and taking pictures of headstones. I have great respect for all the loved ones that have passed, and only post grave sights out of love and respect.|

|Dianna Van Bruggen||William Thornton Lyons|
I am researching my g-g-grandfather, William Thornton Lyons. There is information here that I have not been able to find anywhere else concerning where and when he was born. I'd love to find out where that came from so I can find more about his family.
|Reta Decker||RE: Welcome Decker|
My grandfather was Welcome Deckers his son Lenard Decker was my grandfather. I have been working on my lineage for some time. You have posted pictures of Caroline decker Back.
I work as much on the maternal side as the paternal side.
It is like finding a piece of the puzzle.
Are you a Decker? You seem to have a lot of info. I am most interested.

Is this Sandy that was Mike's wife? If so, write to me on my email Team.Hayes@aol.com

Thank you, for your kindness and your effort. The job you do to keep updated in the cemetery is a huge job and very much appreciated
I just didn't want anybody to look for Bill's grave in Harrisonville. His Dad, Grandpa and Grandma are all buried there, so people might think he was also buried in Orient
His grave and memorial can be found in the Garden City, Missouri cemetery on "Find a Grave"
|Cynthia Farmer-Nold||Carl Otto Ahrens - your page earlier|
Since you have the memorial page earlier than Shaw - by two years (2009 vs. 2011), you could ask him to delete his page as a duplicate. You might want to see if he has information you would like to adopt. I sent edits to most people at some point over the past year about Saline City Cemetery not being real. Sappington Grove Cemetery, which is very near Saline City, and the church cemeteries were used by residents in the area. I found one person listed in this phantom cemetery whose death certificate said Slater City Cemetery. For another, I just found a tombstone list for a cemetery in the Lamine area just past the Saline County line and believe some family historian must have confused Saline with Lamine. There's only one phantom cemetery page maker whom I have not contacted. What do you think about it being your place to contact Shaw? Since the Ahrens family came from Feuersville in Osage County, it seemed logical that they would use a Lutheran cemetery.

I noticed you put in a photo request for him in Saline City Cemetery. There is no Saline City Cemetery as such, and burials in that area were in church cemeteries or small family cemeteries. Carl Otto Ahrens was buried in Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Saline City and his memorial page in that Lutheran church cemetery has a tombstone photo. See memorial no. 35507317, apparently your page. The photo request you put in Aug. 10, 2013 remains open because you requested he be found in Saline City Cemetery. He does have a page in Saline City Cemetery. See no. 72264607 which is a duplicate page in a cemetery that doesn't exist.

All I can make out is He was a soldier and patriot a_________ Chaplin and a good man.
I am doing research on him for a family friend and he is related to him.
