I don't link to "unknown burials".|
I transfer to folks who seem sincerely interested in their family & friends memorial.
I like to look up additional info for other people's memorials. More folks should hop off the 'flower' button and hop on a death index or the census to actually improve more memorials on the site.
Some free sites I find helpful:
CA birth index 1905-1995
CA death index 1905-1939
CA death index 1940-1997
Census and other indexes
Italian Cemetery Records
MO death certificates 1910-1962
San Francisco Mortuary index
On 28 JUL 2013 I was blessed to receive almost 45,000 abandoned memorials to work on in the Italian Cemetery in Colma, CA. On that day, my total went up to 49,973.
I want to thank all the photographers out there getting headstone photos on memorials so the rest of us can sit on the couch and 'visit' our relatives. You may never know just how grateful we are.
Find A Grave guideline;
How do I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' is only for her maiden name.

Michelle Giovanni Battista Troglia was bron in Nole Canavese, Piedmont, Italy. he was son of Francesco Troglia and Teresa Maddaleno. He migrated to USA with his siter Angela Troglia Mango. Up to my knowledge, he died single and with no children. Other siblings, Giuseppe Firmino Troglia (Find A Grave Memorial# 150126840), Elonora Troglia (Find A Grave Memorial# 150130938), Caterina Troglia Costa, Antonio Troglia, Lorenzo Troglia and Carlo Troglia, migrated to Argentina during the ending of the XIX century. I am a great grandson of Giuseppe Firmino Troglia and I would appreciate so much if you can provide me with any picture or information about that grave. Thanks so much in advance!

Josephine's maiden name was Barca and she was born in San Francisco. Her parents' names were Samuel Barca and Mary Sidote (although the spelling varies by record. On her death certificate, it's spelled Sagotti. According to the birth index, it's Sidote.
I'm trying to research my family tree on my mom's side, Natole, and Josephine was her niece. With all the name spelling errors and changes, it's definitely a challenge.
Would be interested in any info you find on my cousin, Josephine.

Thank you yes I would like him and his family transfered I was hoping you were related to Brusatori and knew more about them. I have not been able to find out if the two families are related'
|joyce harris||Baldasari Brusatori|
Samantha, I have tried to find a connection to him for my Grandfather Felix (Amborse) Brusatori for a long time. My grandfather came from Lonate and when he first went to Calif., he went to Santa Barbara to a Guiseppi Brusatori in 1903. His wife Anna was a Simontacchi as was Baldasari, first wife. On the ships record of a trip to U.S. in 1902 he was going to San Francisco to a Brother in Law. He and his family settled in San Rafael, Ca. I do have them on Find A Grave
I have a tree on Ancestry and have made one for Baldasari to search for any clues. If you have done the ancestry for any Brusatori i would be interested to see it.
Thank you for any information
|Chris Horne||RE: Photo transcription|
Yes, it is supposed to check and I have actually found it does. I guess it just missed this one somehow.
The new system really cuts down on the amount of steps needed. First, you upload the photos and then set up the memorials directly from there with the photo already attached. The only things it doesn't do that I wish it did, is allow you to enter the city of birth/death and the cemetery burial plot.
Thanks for the heads-up on the duplicate. Apparently Find A Grave's photo transcription still has some bugs in not finding individual's that already have memorials.
Thanks for the transfer!
