Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been climbing around
on my Family Tree, swinging
on it's branches, and digging
at it's roots for over
30 years, (since 1975).
I have been widowed since 1991, retired in 2005.
I LOVE Find-A-Grave. It is a wonderful
asset to the genealogy world.
If I've created a record that someone
needs to correct, update or add
information, please let me know and
I'll be glad to add your information
for you;... or if the person is your
direct family member, and you would
like to have me transfer "ownership"
of that memorial page to you, please
let me know...If that person is not
directly related to me and they are
directly related to you; I will be
glad to transfer their memorial to
you. However, I want to note:
Nearly all of the memorials that I
have created are connected to my
family tree and are a result of a
lot of years hard work and research.

To all the members who have been
kind enough to transfer "ownership"
of my family members to me....
I THANK YOU!
Find A Grave is one of my favorite
sites.
It has given me a place that I can
remember my loved ones and honor
their memory.

If you have time, please leave a flower
for my dear husband, Roy E. Hughes.

RE: Elizabeth Misenheimer Shinn
Loretta,

I learn something new every day.
I've entered the marriage year on memorials when I have them but since it never showed up, I never knew what the point was so I've just been putting the date in the bio.
Now I SEE it sets the spouse priority!
Thanks for showing me this and thanks for putting the link to Joe in Elizabeth's "links" section.

Thanks for all you do for the rest of us on this site!!!

I do have a question. Some people put the family link in the Bio and I've been shown how to do that. I see it puts the link at the top (instead of at the bottom if you have a long bio). The disadvantage is that it's only one way. So if I go to Joseph in the bio of Elizabeth, it doesn't take me back to Elizabeth (unless she's in the family links.)
I'm not sure what the advantage is and why some are doing this. Can you tell me the benefit?

Sincerely
Dave Milster

Elizabeth Misenheimer Shinn
Loretta,

I was given information about her second husband, that he died during the civil war and the month/year by his fourth great grandson Ben Crowder.

I created Samuel Elam Shinn's memorial with an unidentified location.
If you go to her memorial, you can link to him.

Please link her first husband in the family links. I see you have it in the bio section. OR copy Samuel's to the bio section however you do that.

Thanks so much for all your work on F-A-G.

WHAT information is DIFFERENT than what you have?
My sources are Census records/ancestry.com?

I would appreciate knowing what is different?
Thank You.
I removed my photos as well.

RE: John Michael Milster
Loretta,

Thank you thank you thank you!
Where did you find this information?

You know, I did have info on Martha somehow or other, but not the others.

John and Margaret had two sons too from the census records (but no names).

You wouldn't have any of that information?

I'm trying to link William D Milster of S.C. to his father who would have been one of John's sons.

Again, thank you so much for the info!

John Michael Milster
Hi Loretta,

I've been searching high and low but have not been able to identify John's children other than Sarah.
I'm wondering if you have any information related to his children?

thanks,
Dave
