I have researched my Zinn and Rose family history for many years, and I've made many friends while doing so, some of whom are also relatives ;). It amazes me how the characteristics of one generation are passed to the next, and I love learning about the people; not just the dates and places. |
I enjoy wandering through cemeteries and reading the stones to learn about people who have gone before and see how they are remembered by their loved ones.
Many of the photos I have posted were taken without thought of anyone except me seeing them, not to mention some being taken with a somewhat inferior camera. At that time period, I was simply using them for my personal genealogical information. When I found this site and started adding photos, I hesitated to post some of the pictures because they are not the quality I would prefer. However, using the "they're better than nothing" line of thought, I did post them. I would appreciate photos of better quality being posted. Please contact me and let me know when you've added a good photo so that I can delete my inferior ones.
The disparity in the number of memorials created and memorials managed is the result of a mass transfer of almost an entire cemetery by another FindAGrave contributor.
I strive for accuracy and clarity when I post a memorial, but mistakes sometimes happen; please let me know of errors and I will promptly make corrections.

Thank you so very much for sponsoring his memorial. Although I do not have 20 photos of him- he for sure would have disliked all the ads. :)

|the bryant family||thank you|
Thank you. This was my first of hopefully many submissions. Not sure who this gentleman is but he caught my attention when I noticed he was not listed on the find a grave site for this cemetery. Really my inspiration to get involved. We came to this cemetery several months back looking for some gravestones from my wife's family. I just noticed this marker off by itself in and it just intreeged me for some reason. I thought here lies this veteran and who knows who may be searching for him. I hope I have helped family find him.

I learned how to delete and enter correct info, Margary is now ready for you to accept. Sorry for my stupid mistake.

No I never feel my in box going to explode. That is funny. I get a few 100+ edits about avery 4-6 hours or so. I just go through them and go on.
I just took them Saturday. It was a lovely small cemetery. I only needed a few for myself but got back out of the car and decided to take more. Glad I did.

No problem. I try to keep up with the edits unless i'm out of town!

Happy to turn her over to family, even if it is "distant family".

Yes, I like to give credit where it is due. I also get asked umpteen times "where did you get your info from" and of course with 200-300 SAC's per day, I can't keep track of that. Hence the "courtesy of". In this particular case, since it is from a DC, I will remove the note. Find A Grave admins put their own "bio by" in memorials sometimes, so I'm not sure why AJ would say that.

You are so welcome!
|Red||RE: Zinn and Lotero|
You are welcome. I happened to stumble upon the names while searching for something else and made the connection with Robert. As they are in no way related to me, I'd prefer they be with kin or someone who has some knowledge of them. Planning a trip to the cemetery next weekend, will pick up the photos then. Happy graving, Red
