Betty Ann Cortelyou
memorial #93559117
For Mary Ann Brewer Bean - this is my great grandmother. I submitted 2 edits.
1. Middle name is Ann, not Huntington
2. Birth year is 1854. 1900 census shows birth date as Feb 1854.
I also added a photo of her grave marker which I found in family papers.
Many thanks.

RE: Vertie Everly
Hi Vertie,
Sorry, for the error, to many different windows open. Adolphus Poe is my GG grandfather and his brother Augustus Poe is my wifes G Grandfather. So my kids may have a little Poe in them.

RE: Millard & Juliette Sellers
Yes and no. I found the graves of a child to his second wife and her daughter. But, I didn't see any gravestone for my great great great grandfather, his second wife, or third wife. I did find his obituary in the museum and enjoyed my time there. I figured I would take photos and help others while I was there!

RE: William Miller
Does he possibly have any other relatives in Simpson Cemetery? As those would be good places to dowse and possibly find his grave.

RE: William Miller
Your welcome. It was no problem, as I am friends with the most active of the trustees. They have bought william a marker, but they need to locate his grave or else it will just sit by the fence so that people know he is buried there.

Brian Swann
Tombstone of John Swann at Higginbottom Cemetery, Ruther Glen
Dear Elise

Thank you so much for the picture of this tombstone of John Swann (1773-1801). This may be a vital link in tracing his descendants, which may have been forgotten by history but may come from Edward Swan of Maryland, who arrived there by 1653/4. Only DNA combined with documentation will enable us to crack this.
