I'm researching the Wright family of Troup Co. GA. I'm Looking for Willie Wright (b. 1891-92), he is the son of George and Nannie Wright. He had 2 brothers, Arthur and Hubert Wright. I would appreciate any info on them.

My grandmother was Adele Pattillo, the younger sister of Herbert Alfred Pattillo. He was killed in a train wreck when he was 25. Adele married William M. Clarke & lived in Draper, North Carolina. Their first child was Nellie Jean Clarke, my mother.

It was kind of funny seeing all the workers, 5 or 6, of them, stop gardening, mowing and whipper snipping to come over to check and recheck the location. It was definitely a group effort.
your welcome, karen

Hello: I tried to add a photo of a letter George Washington Wright wrote while he was in the Civil War to his daughter in Feb, 1864. I obtained the letter from a cousin in Alabama, but cannot remember her name. I typed the letter from the original written version (I only have a copy of the original written version). But, Find A Grave would not let me add the letter, saying it only allowed 5 photos on the sight. If you want a copy of the letter go to my tree on AC called ettasmith95 on my Dark Tree and go to George Washington Wright. Email me if you need to do so. Gwynne Smith
|Darrell Landrum||Allan Crowder|
Hi again Mary Jane, I found his grave this morning. As you will see, his marker is incorrect. What is amazing to me is that I have taken photos of his marker in the past and could not figure out who is resting in that grave, mostly due to the unit. Now I realize the state is wrong on the marker.
|Darrell Landrum||Crowders in Old City|
Hi Mary Jane, I just posted a memorial for a William A Crowder who is resting in the Confederate section of Old City Cemetery here in Lynchburg. Was curious if you know whether he was kin to the gentleman by the name of Allen Crowder whom you have a memorial up for and I am going to find his grave marker for you? There are actually three soldiers from Virginia in the Confederate section with the last name of Crowder.

Hi Mary Jane
I have been looking for a William Rice who was born in 1824-25 and went missing after 1854. The William C Rice who is buried in Fort Benning Cemetery in 1857, could be the one I have been looking for him, for years. Thanks for any information about this William Rice you have listed
Thanks Bobby L Rice
