Reading all those rules was so boring; right? Here is the jist of it;|
*don't make a memorial for someone that is already listed.
*don't make a memorial if you don't know where they are buried.
*don't make up a cemetery to put someone in if you don't know where they are buried.
*it's called "Find A Grave", not "list every dead person you can think of."

Now that we are semi-automated, don't bother putting messages at the bottom of the same screen where you added info in a drop down menu. I don't receive those.
You must go back into the 'edit' screen and click on the bottom selection "suggest any other correction or addition" for me to get your message.

On 4 APR 2013 I was blessed to receive hundreds of abandoned memorials in Sonoma County, CA to work on.
On 28 JUL 2013 I was blessed again and received almost 45,000 more memorials to work on. This time in the Italian Cemetery in Colma, CA. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GSvpid=47453018&CRid=8078&pt=Italian%20Cemetery&
If you have a headstone photo for a memorial that doesn't ready have one, please stick it on there. I love the headstone photos.
If you have any additional info to assist me in updating them, please send it my way.
Accidents happen. If you see something I need to fix or add to any of my memorials, please send me an edit . . . NOT an email . . . OR a message on my wall. Just an edit through the "edit" feature the web designers were thoughtful enough to provide just for that purpose.
I want to thank all the photographers out there getting headstone photos on memorials so the rest of us can sit on the couch and 'visit' our relatives. You may never know just how grateful we are.

Samantha: Thank you for the burial confirmation, made edits and thoughtful transfer. I did change Hattie's surname on the memorial to McMeekin. If you have additional info you would like on the memorial, just let me know.
I do have info on (2) children. If you do not already have it:
Jonas Lee McAlpine
b. 31 Jan 1882 in Marathon, Lapeer, MI
d. 26 Dec 1967 in Napa Co., CA
Find A Grave Memorial #15433472
Edith May (McAlpine) Winslow
b. 17 Mar 1877 in Watertown, Tuscola, MI
d. Jan 1967 in Calhoun Co., MI (burial date is the 18th)
Find A Grave Memorial #15433469
Spouse: Rollin C. Winslow, memorial #15433470
I did request edits & relationship links to the memorial managers for Jonas, Jr., Edith & Rollin but did not request transfers.
Thank you again for your kindness.
|Cheri Winslow||Thank you|
Thank you so much for transferring Fara Lehrbach's memorial to me.
You are welcome. I would think that the Michigan cemetery would have record of interment if she is buried w/ Jonas. If you think of it, let me know the results so I can update my Felton family records. Thank you.

I just noticed your emails about a duplicate memorial we share. That's quite a stewardship you inherited!
I realize I need to keep up with my personal memorials a little better. I looked at your 'copy' and see that since you have a minimum of information on my Great great grandparents, and you do not have the Italian transcripts or interpretation thereof... I'd rather keep mine. Thank you for bringing this to my attention! :)
|Bernard Johnson||RE: I need an Ace Bandage.|
Well, they just don't seem to get my e-mails regardless of what category I use. Why don't you send them one telling them that actor Tony Musante is buried at Island Cemetery, North Shoreham (Block Island), Rhode Island. This was in the Los Angeles Times. I sent it 3 times and they still have 'looking for info'. Thanks.
|Bernard Johnson||RE: Oh Look!|
You're SO good!! Thank you. I tried to send another yesterday to tell them where Tony Musante is buried and they come back to me. Very strange. :)
I would just like to get the parents linked to Joe's profile. I tried to do this but the email came back as undeliverable. Do emails to Find a Grave with links get bounced back?
|Mark Vernon||RE: duplicate|
I have just deleted my Luigi. Thank you for reminding me!
