Research tip for Indiana: If an obit says the person died at a address, doesn't mean that is the county the person died at. In Indiana a lot of addresses are located in different counties. For example, Gosort, IN address can be in Monroe County. Poland, IN address can be in Owen County, the address now for Cunot, Indiana is Cloverdale ( a Putnam County address), but a lot of Cunot people live in Owen County, so on and so on in Indiana. If you are looking for a birth or death record the person may actually have lived in another county.

Thank you for the help and the kind words.

Rhonda, The other memorial established by Julia Young is in New Union Carolina Church & Cemetery, Owen County, Indiana. It appears to be the same headstone???
|Cliff Blanchard||Charles Valentine Neier (FAG#133280070)|
Rhonda, I read somewhere that the Neier name is part of your family history. I just posted three Neier's in Croys Creek Cemetery. Charles, his wife, Permelia (Find A Grave#133280404), and an Infant Son (Find A Grave#133284671). I remember seeing another memorial for Charles, which I believe may be wrong.
You know me well enough to know I only post a memorial w/photo of the headstone that I actually see.
|Len Harrell||Re: Mary Allen|
Are a relative or friend of Mrs. Allen? If so, I would be honored to transfer her Memorial to you if you would like.
With Kindest Regards,
|Pam Cassiday||RE: Rubeck Pictures|
I've added the Rubeck photos that you requested. Do you know of other old photos of our Rubeck ancestors? I'd love to get copies.

I tried to send you an email at your email address,but not sure it went through. It showed an error. So, I will try this way.
On the left side of the page, it shows his birth
year as 1833. If you look at the headstone, it
should be 1883. Would you make the change for
Thank you so much.

Rhonda, I'm still establishing memorials w/photo in Cottage Hill Cemetery. I ran across a marker that I added to your memorial of Henry M. Pierce. When I researched to marker, I found his parent's names, and some information about the Pierce Family Crest.
Henry Mahlon Pierce was born on Sep 9, 1844 in Wysox, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, and died on May 3, 1902 in Clay County, Indiana. His parents are: Chester Pierce and Harriet Sophia Lily. His wife's maiden name is Mira "Myra" Kennedy who he married on 23 April 1867 in Clay County, Indiana.
The Pierce Family Crest, which translates from Latin "DIXIT ET FECIT" to English means "He said and he did". The crest can be found on the Pierce Arrow automobile
His family served in the American Revolutionary War.
