First: Most of this information comes from the Mansfield Historical Society records and due credit should be given to this wonderful orginization. Without their concern for recording and saving History these records could not have been entered.|
As we age History becomes more important. Preserving these Grave Records is one of the tools for our future generations to find out who we were and to establish our values. It is one of the best tools for research on the Web.
I hope my entering these records will help bring fond memories to those who visit. Please send any corrections or additions to me and I will make the changes, or I may transfer managment to relatives of the deceased.

|Patricia Riordan-Faver||James Monroe Turner|
I am sorry to confuse you but these are my husbands direct ancestors and we just visited these sites to confirm information.
James Monroe Turner #42995061 was married first to
Ennis Gude Christopher Turner McLendon #17382275
He then married her sister Nannie T. Christopher Turner #42995063.
Demarcus Coleman Christopher #49459490 and Nancy Ann Coats Christopher #49459530 are the parents of Ennis Gude and Nannie T.
If you would like, please release maintenance of James Monroe Turner #42995061 to me and I will make the corrections.
Thank you for your help!
|Patricia Riordan-Faver||Nannie's correct name|
This is my great grandmother's sister who was married to her ex-husband, James Monroe Turner.
The correct spelling of her name per a letter, a copy of which I have in my possession, written by her biological father, Demarcus Coleman Christopher is NANNIE T. CHRISTOPHER. Her married name is NANNIE T. TURNER. I have attached their photograph to this gravesite.
|Sharon ||Alfred Preston Branson|
Alfred P Branson born 15 Mar 1838 died 7 Jun 1909 Texas was not the chiild of Valentine Branson and Alpha Sherrill.
Alfred was the son of Valentine Branson born 1801-1810 died before 1840 and Sealy Beck died before 1840. Valentine-Sherrill raised him.
This fact is proven by the court record of Alfred Preston Branson against the estate of Jared Branson Jr and receiving a full child's portion as the only child of Valentine Branson son of Jared Jr.

Hello Terry, I added a headstone, hope it is ok. Note the date is off two years ?
|Linda Riley||Dillard Roy Pressley|
Did you just enter your info from records from the Association? We called Mrs. Harris today and she could not locate where Dillard Roy Pressley was in the cemetery. I guess there is no longer a map of the grave lot and who is buried in them.

Would it be possible to correct Yates to
Yeates? (Memorial listed as Belle Yates Jetton.)
Thanks for everything that you do.
|Suzanne and Fred S.||Joseph Wheeler Turner|
If you prefer to transfer Joseph (41444412) to me, that would be fine too. I am working with his Grandson on Turner family history and gathering family, writing Bio's, etc.
Your help is much appreciated. Thank you very much!
|Suzanne and Fred S.||Joseph W. Turner, #41444412|
I just noticed the Find A Grave memorial page you made for Joseph W. Turner. I have a duplicate page for Joseph W. Turner and my page number is #147713867. I entered this page recently after working with some Turner family members who are good friends of mine and we are entering family members on findagrave. Would you be so kind as to look at my page on Joseph and link the family members to your Joseph page and add the information at the top of the page and I will delete my duplicate page.
Thank you so much for your help in correcting my duplicate error. It is important to link Joseph's wife, Ella Rook Turner, #41444407 to Joseph as well as his children.
Much appreciated! :)
You will find my Find A Grave number at the bottom of my page for Joseph.
|rsboswell||Amanda Hamil - Mansfield Cemetery|
I realize the entry for this person in Mansfield Cemetery is probably from records, but I'm looking for the source information that identifies her as Amanda Boswell. I do in-depth research on the Boswell Family that came out of Virginia and the line that settled in Tarrant Co., TX is among them. However, in my research, I've yet to locate this particular person in relation to the family. By birth date, (she was born in Feb.1833, not 1883) it seems that she'd be a sister to William Boswell who's also buried there. However, William already had a sister Amanda (Caroline Amanda Boswell) born in 1846, and she is definitely not the same person. I've located George W. Hamil and his wife Amanda back to Waverly Hall, GA and 1860 Talbot Co., GA (same counties the Boswells were in at the same time), and since Amanda Boswell does not show up on the 1850 Census in either county, it's a good bet that's the year she married. Unfortunately I've not located a marriage record for either name that would conclusively tell me her last name was Boswell. Anyway, as I stated, I'm looking for an inkling where it states she is a Boswell. She was not the sister of William.
Thanks! Richard S Boswell

You have researched quite thoroughly for my ancestor, Andrew P. Patterson. Thank you for that. Is there someone else who might be researching this Patterson family?
