Bio and Links
Bio Photo The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Elizabeth McDaniels
I have updated your memorial for my great Aunt "Libbie."
Thank for allowing me to contribute!
In addition, I have verified through the NewField History site and their historian, that your Elizabeth McDaniels and mine, living most of her life in Newfield, are indeed the same individual.
My history of the Minar and Martha McDaniels family is nearly complete. I am still seeking info on Elizabeth's brother: John Gillett McDaniels. He spent most of his time living in and running a grocery in Ithaca. Seeking info on death date and burial location. So far, no luck!
Again thank-you for your great work!
Have a great day!

RE: George Barton Curtis
Thanks so much for the quick answer. You clearly keep good records, to know your source so clearly and quickly. The volunteer said he would try again at the cemetery. We'll see what happens. --Janet

Thank you Barbara Wow I have found so many connections going back became confused Will have to work on it with daughter She has been trying to find more info for long time I used to try but was not as much then I lost touch with most of my family there was problems between my mother Evelyn and her siblings I do know that the children of my great uncle Oliver (brother of Claude Campbell) and Great aunt Cora (sister to Annie Lou) had done research and found info but there seemed to be issues with sharing the info Perhaps Vickie who i do not know how to reach could help me Since you do speak with her, I was wondering if you could pass on my contact e mail to her? My daughter is most interested in this We have little family we have contact with It is just my daughter, 2 sons, and 2 Grand's so she would like to have history for them Please pass on the contact to Vickie and let her know that I would be most interested in any history or any info in order to contact family members

Grave Marker Phonto
Hi Barbara, Thank you for all the work you do! I attempted using the edit button but have been unsuccessful. Will you please remove the grave marker photo attached to this memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 51033654? It is the incorrect photos/wrong person. Thanks so much.

Thanks Barbara. From what I have read, they will not delete a cemetery unless it is empty.
