Thank you for visiting!

My mother, Mary Edith "Meg" Stevens and I, were/are long-time supporters of Findagrave -- a wonderful site to place memorials and do research. She sadly passed away in May of 2013, but her love of genealogy and helping others find their family, lives on.

One of my interest areas is the American Revolution. Please feel free to visit my page on Facebook and assist in the research. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RevWarRsch/.

I also welcome you to follow my weekly blog at GenealogyBank or to follow me on Twitter.

Thank you for the transfer..
because you did that I was able to find her husband who rode off with the Harris Light Cavalry, never to return or see his son. She never found out what became of him- Today we learn he was captured in Virginal and died of disease in prison and is buried in the prison cemetery.
I finally linked them

Jacob Martin Plessinger
Mary,

Unsure as I am of the proper protocol for asking you to review a listing you've written, still I must persevere.

According to the book "Biographies and Geneological History of Wayne, Union and Franklin Counties Indiana", Jacob Martin Plessinger married Sarah Riegel. Also, he was born 15 Dec 1827.

The work you have performed is more than commendable and I certainly applaud your dedication to Find A Grave.

Thank you for your consideration of this matter,
Diane Rich

Hawkins/Hankins (#5631804)
Hello, I am confused by your use of the surname "Hankins" for all members of this family. If this is the same Robert Hawkins and Sarah Curry who were married on 25 July 1816 in Franklin County, Indiana, then their surname is "Hawkins"... I know that the surname has been transcribed incorrectly in several records in Shelby County, but the records consistently say "Hawkins" in Franklin County. Have you viewed the headstones to see how the surname is spelled for each member of this family?

Find-a-grave Memorial # 3957348, Adolph A Supple
Mary,

Thank you for the work you are doing with Find-a-grave! I am working with a co-worker on her family tree. Her great-uncle, Adolph Arthur Supple is buried in Marietta National Cemetery, Section C Site 1269-C.

Ancestry.com from the Marietta, Georgia, Marietta National Cemetery, 1866-2010 database has his name incorrectly spelled as Adolph A Shppll. You provided a photo attached to Find-a-grave Memorial # 3957348, the memorial was transferred by US Veteran's Affairs.

There is a photo of the gravestone attached to the Marietta National Cemetery record, but it is very difficult to read. Is there a possibility that you could provide a rubbing? If not, do you know who might be able to provide one?

Also, is this located in an area of Civil War Veterans? It gave me some option to view those kind of photos on his record.

Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

Hausmann transfer request
Please transfer the following memorials for some of the Hausmann family: Peter Hausmann #50417879, Katherine Hausmann #50417836, and Henry Hausmann #89162888. They are found in the Mt Vernon Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Peter and Katherine were the great-grandparents of my mother and Henry was one of their children. I would like to include them in my family files.
I am not sure if the other Hausmann files that you have in the Mt Vernon Cemetery are in my family but I will explore further and contact you again if I would like you to transfer those records also.
Thank you for finding these.
