I inherited the genealogy bug from my mother. I ran across F.A.G. while trying to find information on ancestors. I believe F.A.G. is a wonderful site to find missing family links.|
When photographing, I go row-by-row. I am not a greedy request-claimer who will go out, take a single pic, and run back to post it. From a genealogy perspective, I want to know if there are other family members in the cemetery that I may not already know of. Also, if someone has previously posted a pic of the headstone and I get a better one (I am using a HD camera), I will add mine as well.
If you would like me to transfer management of a memorial, please send me the request, and your relationship to that person. I try to transfer to family members if possible!
***** If you send me a message stating "this memorial is a dupe, please delete," please make sure the other memorial has at least as much information and pics as the one in my control. Otherwise it will remain as-is!!!
****If you would like me to add an obituary to a person, you MUST provide me with citation information!!!!!!!!

|Debra Anderson||RE: Ruth Ann Cook memorial #111496520|
7-25-2009. Hello I am wondering if you are related to Ruth Ann Comstock Cook. She is my 2x great grandmother. Her daughter is my great great aunt. I see that you added your memorial on the 30 of May 2013.
Mine was added 7-25-2009.
I know that the headstone reads one thing, however, the 1860, 1870, 1880, & 1900 all put her being born in 1851.
She was married to Stark Jacob Daniel Cook in may 22, 1870. Her one daughter Gladys G. Cook was a fine lady.
So if you wouldn't mine transferring over to me or deleting yours and place picture on mine that would be great.

|Kirk B Mayer||Eliza Sumpter #108430451|
Melissa, My wife may be a distant relative of Eliza Sumpter, wife of William Sumpter. If they are relatives, they were both born (and married) in England. William was a minister.
How would I go about getting a copy of her obituary, to confirm the family connection. According to the headstone you photographed she died December 10, 1903 and is buried in Fairbury, Nebraska. Who should I contact to get a copy of her obituary? Thanks.

I just found that you created a memorial for my Grandfather Walter Gates who is buried in the Fairbury Cemetery. My Grandmother recently passed away in December and I decided to do some searching online for ancestory information.
Could you please transfer their memorials to me?
I would greatly appreciate it.

I worked for a home health agency several yrs ago and he was a client. I saw him bright and early every Monday morning for almost 3 yrs. He was ornery but a very nice gentleman.
Placing a red heart next to a name of a friend or loved one is just my way of saying "I care that you lived in this mixed up world"
